It may have been kareem's team, but they hadn't won a chip since '72 and Kareem had been there since '75 ...after that first chip in your rookie year, the Lakers became your team..and showtime started !!!!yeah, yeah, yeah!!!!!

Man. I never realized Magic was 6 years younger than Bird. No wonder Bird was 10 times better than him in college and the first 6 years of the 80s.
Bird did 4 years of college , and miss one year. Magic left early after 2 season.
Almost 3 years, not 6. Larry wanted to graduate, Magic didn't care.
