Normally we do a gift guide each year for guys, but this year we are finding more items for other people. Mostly our wives or girlfriends. We struggle to find good gift ideas that are original for our wives. This one is tried and true. My wife loves this as it fills a dual purpose of charging her Apple phone that seems to always be next to dead and keeping her hands warm in many different situations.
My wife loved it so much that we purchased a second one so she could have one in each pocket. But beyond a hand warmer, these small units can be placed in pockets and warm different areas of your body helping to keep you warm.
I have been using this while hunting and it has been great. It allows me to keep it in my hoodie pocket and stay warm in my hunting gear. This would also be great for ice fishing or skiing.

Don't know why anyone in their right mind would consider ANY amount of charge time less than four-six hours as TOO LONG for something like this. FIFTEEN HOURS of warmth on low for just a two-three hour charge!

I'm pretty stupid going outside and clearing snow without gloves... I could use these to warm my fingers up lol.

They probably went back and put in a different resistor or thermistor....I'm not an electrician but they probably saw the flaw in the 1st one (like you said).. getting too hot to hold and that's kind of the point of it.... good stuff Brian....👍

Either way, they work great for keeping you warm.

Interesting device. Ultimately the battery will fail to be usable. Maybe it can be replaced. I have a nice long winter parka. I might be interested in a heated vest to go under it.

They are great for the cost IMHO...

Two 21700's inside soldered in. Could be replaced with a little "know how".

You got me. I just bought a pair for stocking stuffers for myself. Wish I bought them in time for deer season. I can’t wait until next year. But I’ll use them while outside here in New England. Thanks Pal.

I have two Zippo warmers, a big one and a small one, they are great! I love the small one, I keep it in a small tobacco tin, this allows me to store it for longer with fuel and to put it out by smothering it easily if I'm going to be indoors for a while and need it later, it's quick to fill so I don't need to worry about forgetting to charge it on the one day I really need it as I can buy fuel anywhere should I not already have it. It's always handy to have a lighter anyway, even as a non-smoker these days, so needing one to start it isn't a n issue, in fact it's an advantage to me, there is no accidentally switching it on in a pocket or bag and finding it dead when you need it!
