We celebrated Christmas eve at home with my brother, mom, dad and my grandparents. We all lived together, except my dad but it made total sense and on the next days we either visited relatives or they came to us. My mom told me that Santa is overworked and stressed and that he lost some presents at other houses for me when I got presents from relatives. I think it was a good explanation. 😂👍🏻

I went through this for years as a single mom with poor daughters and my mom always had a big Christmas Eve dinner and then we were supposed to go over her house Christmas morning to open presents and she would pressure me and to stay in the night. But even taking up all of Christmas Eve which started early and Christmas Day and I didn't have the guts to stand up for myself and say I want to do Christmas with my kids at my house. I didn't grow any balls till I was around 50. One of the reasons I always did it her way as a single mom with four kids she bought the majority of the Christmas presents
I think it must be nicer for your kid to be with nana rather than just mum at home and tbh is that really much to ask… that you stay over at your mums considering your kid wouldn’t have such a good Christmas had your mum not coughed up…. But ungrateful from you tbh

Wow I really understand why momma Chris feeling the way she feels. It's not about the party. Is about that all her children's are gone. So for her to have the party at her house she feels in control over all her children's as if her children's were toddlers again. It comes a time in every mother's life were we feel left out the end of our road. Nevertheless our age is still continuing multiplying. And this can be very stressful scary and difficult to find confront. But the important thing is having the controlling of your family, and once that's gone, we start to shut down or we distance ourselves from everyone. And most definitely that's is not positive is negative. And we as mother's and grandmother, we must take action by getting the controlling back in place. I truly feel for Chris. Because I experience and continue today I'm still experiencing the same pain. It scares me to this date. But I must admit that I have learned to appreciate my time with my children's and grandchildrens even the smallest things in life. People tomorrow is not promise to no one. So this is how I'm able to continue to press myself with all my siblings. It hard at time but there times that I don't want to end my time nor say goodbye. I'm five hours away from my siblings is not like I can get up drive 30 min no I can't. I'm older and they have a family of there own. I must respect them by calling. Planning is the best. I pray for this family, that our lord Jesus will strengthen there's ways and learned to appreciate one another. People Most importantly Chris really loves her family she really does. I may not agree with her parenting skills. But we all have something in ourselves that needs adjusting. I pray that they will work on this matter and accomplish it to the max.
Christmas should really only be family and maybe close friends now days. I wouldn’t trust all the extra people running around getting drunk with small kids around..

I have enjoyed watching this Family over the years and seeing how they worked to accomplish what they have and their blessings from doing so..I know people that work ten times harder everyday then they thought about and barely pail their bills, people that are homeless that have no family when we never know what kind of life they have had ,A good Family that's always worked and raised their kids to just be hard working Family and always appreciating the little things ..I would love to see The Kardashian/Jenner Family make some shows about giving back and blessing other people like they have ,even if they work to get their blessings some people are less uncomfortable that work all their life .I just want to see them bless people instead of who has the biggest Tree ,the most lights ,or the Best dressed

i understand that big parties and going over the top for celebrations but i feel like the holidays for me is already stressful enough and to add the big stress of planning this giant party and having everything perfect is too much. don’t get me wrong that looks like so much fun but i just remember when i was younger my grandma would be so stressed on having everything perfect that me and her and the rest of the family couldn’t enjoy ourselves that much due to all the pressure.

What sucked was the year I went to buy Angel wrapping paper and I found out that the nine Christians had achieved their goal and taking Christ out of Christmas have turned it into happy holidays. They couldn't just celebrate the holidays they weren't happy with that. Unbelievable. I think we should have still been able to have Christmas and they pick a year a day of the year to have a holiday but nope that wasn't good enough.

That's what we did as kids. My mum had 4 siblings and there were 13 grandchildren- we'd have our Christmas morning at our own house, then the whole family would go to my grandparents' house. We'd exchange more gifts there and us cousins would all run around. The in the evening we'd have a big party as my mum's birthday is Christmas day. Special memories
