8:35 the argument about "just buying your items and being able to physically own them" so you can take them to other games is such bullshit. That's like trying to make the argument of buying a phyical copy of a game and trying to sell it to gamestop 10 years later for 2 dollars. The value of that shit wont hold up. Unless multiple game studios all make a promise to keep the same game graphics for their assets in games.
There are so many different problems with that concept. Incompatible engines, different graphical styles, each company pretty much needing to make their own version of the asset in their game that they make no profit off of, all the legal hoops that would need to be jumped through to get every single company into legal agreement for it all to work, etc. It's basically a near impossibility. It can't and won't happen on any large enough scale for it to be worth it. The best will be some smaller devs teaming up sometimes or in company stuff like Ubisoft's Quartz nonsense which crashed and burned immediately

The totality of the polygonal mesh that makes up a 3D asset; whether that be .raw, .blend, .dae, .obj whatever format you use that data is not stored on the Blockchain. The NFT is what it says it is: a TOKEN, a receipt, a bill of sale of an item - NOT the composition of that item. There is a requirement require additional 3rd party services to interpret that NFT into anything useful - meaning dev time - and I'm sorry for the vast majority of cases that will be NOT be profitable to sustain long-term.

Some people know it is scam, but still put money anyway in the hope of making money if they come early and enough people get scammed, just like ponzi scheme. It is not about whether it is a scam, it is about whether the scam will be successful and enough people will fall victim to it.
I don't get why they think developers would allow you to purchase skins and move them between games since it reduces the amount of stuff they can sell you in the next game they make. It does nothing to benefit the developer. The only way I can make sense of this claim is that they think game developers are less greedy than themselves. The only reason for developers to be pursuing this idea is if they think there is more money to be had. So the only way I could see them allowing this is if they can hit you up with transaction fees when you move your digital property between games. And they get a piece of the action for every trade made between players in game on top of some sort of flat fee for the trade as well through the use of smart contracts and the need to have a certain number of special tokens to perform the transaction between players in the first place. The only thing I see coming out of NFTs in gaming is developers coming up with whole new ways to nickel and dime players for every last cent they have.

I don't know what it is with all of these scammers and swindlers on how they look but there is always something off about them. I cannot point my finger even to a general direction what it is, but there's always this uncanny valley feeling when watching them. The feeling is comparable as with the movie antagonists as they all look the same while also different with the exception that these swindlers are not stereotypical caricatures. Of course, I'm not saying they're ugly or anything like that but it's just this uncanny feeling. It also could just be some biases twisting my judgement but I cannot identify any.
