    Never commented on a yt vid, but you helped me get through Calc 1 and heading into Calc 2 strong. You and your videos are amazing!

      Thank you so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I have an updated video that I think is even better:

    22:19 if you changed your limits of integration to start at something other than 0, like -4 to 2 or -10 to 2, would that give you the volume of a different shape, or would it just give you incorrect and meaningless results?

    I wish my teacher would teach me like you do. They just assign the reading and homework and I have no one to go to for help. Thank you

    @10:42 what did you mean the curve will take care of itself? when would you need to subtract something from the height?

    When we found the volume for number three, is it giving us the volume of the solid from the bottom of the x-axis sll the way to the solid above? Or is it just giving us the volume of the solid that is above the x-axis? since it is bounded by y = 0

    i have question regading about example 3 and 4 in this video . I didn't understand how did you get the limits of integral and how did you find the values of h. can you please ecplain it me .

    • @blackgold754
      @blackgold754 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The values of h was just given to you so you don't have to worry much for that. As for integral, that is just the rule for shell. Sometimes, the bounds are given in the equation like y=4 and x=2, and sometimes you just have to find it through solving the given heights.

    Can you pls explain why u used 0 and 4 as limits of integration for Ex. 2 when the shaded region is from 0 to 8.75

    I can't seem to get the right answer to 3. I simplified and found the antiderivative but when I calculate it does not give me the right answer. Do you have to split the integrals?
