Gamblerz clearly won. Predatorz had better Routines and more Battle Attitude but Korea played their own game focusing on dancing to the beat, cleaner moves, better transitions and had way more flow. Their Downrock is fluid like water.
Akira Miyazono Originality is key for me. Predatorz take bites from other crews. Plus bboy Kill and Bboy The End had some of the best sets I've seen in a while
And I'm still waiting on Bboy Darkness to make A COMEBACK !!
If you can somehow get Gambler and Gamblerz to stop hating each other, good luck with that. Darkness is never gonna be able to join a team with the likes of current Gamblerz. Way too much bad blood.

I think that R16 could benefit from a more attractive looking setup. Not that it needs to have tons of flashing lights like Red Bull last year, but part of the reason Red Bull is so popular was because of the epic setup. And if you look at YAK's coverage of many events, it's clear that with good camera work, nice contrast lighting on the stage really highlights the dance. I feel that this stage has too much of an even lighting with too many saturated colors and cheapens the battles a bit. Just my 2c.

GREAT battle! Gamblerz really impressed me! Kill's set was sooooooo on point! His 90's was the best ive seen him done! too clean. Bboy rocket killing those beats soooo bad. They really had everything for each category! Man, if only they had bboy Pop with them as well, the whole crew would be untouchable!

Gamblerz for me Won, I just can't stand Predatorz always either accusing Gamblerz of Biting or Repeating, I think the judges must have got tired of it as well but Predatorz aren't as Technically good compared to Gamblerz!

Itachi Uchiha The End is simply the best bboy in is category. Better than Kill, better than Lil G, better than Nori, better than Bruse Lee. He is an old school bboy and since... maybe 2005, is the best in flare.

I like Predatorz and it looks quite close battle, but there is no chance to clear win for Predatorz. They only outperform in 'Dynamics' to Gamblerz. Anyway this is a dope battle, big props for both sides!

Am a fan of both crew and I do strongly believe Gamblerz deserved this win. Remember that R16 has a new bboy grading system which is explained by Bboy Dyzee. Don't blame the grading system, blame the judges.

i've done about my 5 months of research and i've finally got the pair that Rocket's wearing. However, i am also 5 months late.
In any case, if it helps and isn't too late, the actual shoes he's wearing are "Nike Blazer 6.0 Mid Lr Suedes"
The black one is the one he's wearing, except he must've switched out the regular black laces for the white one's he's got on.

I think predator win for me. Even predator's routines are the same thing, they are still good. Though gamblerz focus on individual, the personal performance still the same thing, too. Look at 8:20 .

Where's the footwork? I've seen more tricks than foundation in these R16 battles. An entire power set, 20 1990's and beat OVER kill is cool, but let's see the moves that separates gymnastics from bboying: footwork. I do a backflip: gymnastics, I do a backflip into a 3-step: breaking. Not disappointed, I'm just feeling that breakers exercise the circus theatrics into their sets for the "going big" effect while the culture's foundation moves are being tossed aside. Complete bboys/bgirls would have decent toprock, solid footwork, freezes, and power with the skill/cleverness to throw them all down into their sets. This IS my opinion afterall.
Not a big deal, but one thing that annoys me about the crowd is that some will cheer for a bboy/bgirl they like before they even perform. Plus when they finish their set the opposing team will smoke their set and they'll give no applaud - they're in love with a single bboy and not the culture as a whole. You can love your bboy, you can also give props to others for rockin' it!
