ayo, i'm mad tired. hope y'all are doing well :) haven't fled to that german countryside just yet.
right now, the sun is setting. I can see the last of its rays against the furthest leaves of the trees outside my window. upfront, the greens are cool, almost subdued-- were it raining, their color wouldn't be out of place. but beyond them, the sun still shines. There, the bark is warm, and the leaves look more yellow. The contrast between the two is like a distant memory crashing into the limbo of the present. It makes me smile, yet I feel older for it.
I'm just a college student, dawg... I shouldn't be feeling this type of way yet...
