    I'm new to FMQ.. I like the way you teach, and that you "think out loud" about the process while you are quilting - that's a great help to us novices !

    Going over the lines in a panel, with clear thread, was the first way I learned to quilt. A lot of people thought I had made the quilts from scratch.

    Excellent video! Thank you! Easy to understand and exactly what I needed to start. All your video are excellent and very direct without excessive chatter. Do always use many different colors on the panel or CLEAR at times?What length of stitch do you use???? Thank you a million times. Please make more videos.

    I love your videos! I’m a beginner quilter, and have made a panel quilt using “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” fabric. With panel quilts, do you stitch in the ditch on all of the seams before fmq. I have no center seam, but do have seems where the borders and corner pieces are sewn.

    That's a great video and I did learn a lot from it. But how do you maneuver around a panel that is in the middle of a quilt with your machine?

  • @jeniwren123
    @jeniwren123 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you for this tutorial Rob. I’m just about to FMQ my first panel. Do you think I should I match the upper thread colour to the design, while keeping the bob on thread matching the backing fabric? So many decisions to make, I keep on procrastinating because I don’t want to get it wrong.
