    Let’s face it; Niko is VERY easy on the eyes, and he has a gorgeous wife and beautiful children. And we are so very blessed to have him take the time to share his life and flights with us. I actually feel as though I know him, although we’ve never met. His piloting adventures makes each of us pilots better pilots. I’ve been flying for 49 years (started flying lessons in 1971 at the age of 13) and I’m always learning more every single day! Niko’s TH-cam Channel is by far my favorite! God’s best to you and your family Niko!

    love niko. hands down my favorite aviation channel on youtube and someone i look up to. amazing how you can connect with someone through a video of a business trip flight lol

  • @Mike-01234

    He is one of the few who I find interesting his videos are really well done, and the fact that he obviously isn't making these videos for a living like so many on TH-cam where it's their primary way of making a living. The fact that his flights are real he always traveling somewhere gives you a perspective into General Aviation might not see.

    I really love your videos Niko. You make your videos easy to follow you through your flights. I try intentionally to take what you say and replicate it in simulation. I am really hoping to continue to learn from you and I appreciate so much in addition to avionics learning I enjoy our friendship together as well which transcends the professional relationship we have together. You and your family are a tremendous blessing to alot of people and me personally big time. I fly the cirrus sr22 g3 Turbo that I have named BLUE ANGEL. Love you so much Niko

    • @artistwithcameras

      No. We only have an Avidyne G3 and CTC requires new equipment

  • @Smokymtncowboy

    p-static, here at the knoxville cirrus service center see a ton of SR's come in with p-static issues. a lot of the times EMF tape wont create a good ground in the cowlings and we replace it constantly. its a composite airplane and cirrus saved cost by not covering some of the airframe in that tape. so static electricity interferes with radio signals. we see it a lot un fortunately.

    • @artistwithcameras

      What ? That sounds like such a simple fix. That’s unacceptable.

      @Smokymtncowboy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@artistwithcameras you're telling me. that's the story I've got on that, and it seems to help a lot when we fix it but its a good pain to do that job.

    Niko,. If it is not too personal, would you mind explaining WHAT business you are in, and does your relative affluence come just from your work (as opposed to other sources, like inheritance, etc)? I think a lot of us would be interested in how you afford your standard of living, with the planes, Tesla, etc. Not to get too personal, but I'm curious to know about what business takes you all over the country, and is remunerative enough to make it worth owning an airplane for. Thank You.

    • @artistwithcameras

      He’s a software engineer and sells to municipalities. Specialty stuff.

    • @douglas2lee929

      @@artistwithcameras THANK YOU for that info. Fascinating. I can see how he would be an excellent salesman. He seems very well grounded, and honest, which I'm sure the customers appreciate. Some software engineers can make huge salaries if they are good. And being a Software Engineer AND salesman usually drives that number higher. That answers my question. Thank You very much.

    One reason to not fly a Cirrus overweight is because the parachute is sized for the maximum weight. If overweight, the rate of descent under the parachute will be higher than optimal resulting in a hard landing.

  • @ExtremeRecluse
    @ExtremeRecluse 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Being overweight is part of the limitations of the aircraft. But these are structural limitations, the same a VNE. The aircraft has designed limitations. Want to roll the dice? I was in the Army flying UH-60s. We deployed to GITMO, assembled our aircraft. We loaded them to the max, because we had no other vehicle to carry our units equipment. It was really hot before departing to Haiti. We did our normal engine tests and determined that we were over grossed. What did we do? We continued to fly. We were not a little over grossed. We were a lot. We needed to perform the mission. Was it safe? Who knows what damage, if any we caused to the $100,000,000 worth of helicopters. We completed the mission as briefed though.

    You feel, from his editing and dialogue, like you’re in the plane with him. It’s the closest I’ll get to being a private pilot given that I can’t pass the medical exam.
