We used to play out in the rain

(She said that we were bad)
I thought I better go on home
You watched till I was gone
Ooh, girl, you looked so sad
I picked you up when you fell
And cut your knee
I told you not to cry
And held you close to me
As I was running
Through the storm
To get my umbrella on
(Think about it...)
I stopped in shock
When I saw you with
Another fellow, oh, wow
Can you remember the rain
Can you remember the rain
You left me for somebody else
Now I must face life by myself
You broke so many rules in school
I took the blame for you
I guess I was the fool
You used to sneak me notes in class
I winked my eye and laughed
Those days went by so fast
I heard remarks
That tore us all apart
I'm still trying to put back
The pieces to my heart
And I'll be crying your name, girl
Until my very last breath
(Think about it...)
'Cause my existence without you
Ain't nothing but a little death
Gosh
Can you remember the rain
Can you remember the rain
You left me for somebody else
Now I must face life by myself
Can you remember the rain
(Think about it...)
Can you remember the rain

Chills all over my head and body , tears in my eyes I just heard Michael Jackson when he was younger , it’s a challenge to be known around the Jackson 5 , it’s my first time hearing this and it hits me so hard , the melody is phenomenal the lyrics is meaningful and the whole song building is amazing
I jus heard a sample of this song and searched till I found it! Well worth the time spent!!! Oh how I wish I was an adult in the 70s and 80s 💓🎙🙏🏾
I just did same thing!! Excited for the discovery! Check out BLI$$ when BLISSWAYNE comes out soon!
The melodies and bridges, so many other artists took that and put it in their songs, I love this ❤this so is slept on for sure
This is given off some Jackson five vibes
I thought it was J5 when I first heard it
Fax😂🔥💯

The lead producer on some of their work was the lead producer from the Jackson 5

Can we please give the Sylvers their flowers.❤❤❤ This was a successful professional R&B family group that contributed huge hits in the music business from the era of the 70s. Beautiful talented group. 💐 💐 💐 The world remember Boogie Fever and Misdomenor two great hits. You tube staff, 21st Century is the correct group who sung Remember The Rain. Thank you
the sylvers didn’t even make this song
@@slimwtff
You're right when I saw the Sylvers it just occurred to me that the beautiful family group was completely treated poorly in the music industry. 21st Century made Remember The Rain.
I won't get tired of this song ever its so beatiful

I had 10 years looking for this song. It's so beautiful!
The Awesome 70's...so proud to B from that era.

Yes it is 21st Century, My dad still has the original cassette tape.
🤯🤯🤯
i somewhat forgot this song existed, but then 0:11 kicked in and i suddenly remember this whole song
We used to play out in the rain
Your mother scolded us
She said that we were bad
(She said that we were bad)
I thought I'd better go on home (stepped it up and)
You watched till I was gone
Ooh, girl, you looked so sad
[Pre-Chorus]
I picked you up when you fell and cut your knee
I told you not to cry and held you close to me
[Interlude]
As I was running through the storm
To get my umbrella
(Think about it / Think)
I stopped in shock when I saw you
With another fellow, oh, wow
[Chorus]
Can you remember the rain?
Can you remember the rain?
You left me for somebody else
Now I must face life by myself
[Verse 2]
You broke so many rules in school
I took the blame for you
I guess I was the fool
You used to sneak me notes in class
I winked my eye and laughed
Those days went by so fast
[Pre-Chorus]
I've got remarks that torn us all apart
I'm still tryna put back the pieces to my heart
[Interlude 2]
And I'll be crying your name, girl
Until my very last breath
(Think about it / Think)
'Cause my existence without you
Ain't nothing but a little death
Gosh
I LOVE THE VIBE AND THE RAW TALENT, Its goosebump inducing and soul awakening
1:29 the moment you were looking for

oh my god what a beautiful song 🛐🛐✨
I love listening to this when it rains. Sitting beside my window, the sound of raindrops and this music blending in with each other.
This song is so old and still viral till this day

And Gal.
Pops know what’s up ❤
Yes, The Sylvers are a great family singing group, however, it's not The Sylvers singing. It's a group from Chicago called "21st Century". I'm happy to hear the song had such a profound effect on you 🤗. It is a wonderful song. 😍

THE GREATEST SYLVERS ALBUM EVER. THIS IS WHEN THEY WERE THE REAL SYLVERS . LEON SYLVERS IS THE MAN FORGET ABOUT TEDDY RILEY. I STILL HAVE A VYNYL OF THIS. CLASSIC MUSIC.GREATEST HARMONIES AND BASS LINES PUT TOGETHER. I AM A BIG LEON SYLVERS FAN. GOD BLESS THIS FAMILY FOREVER FOR WHAT THEY GAVE TO THE WORLD. DOC TIMBERLAKE
You must have an album by 21st Century because this song was never done by the Sylvers, although 21st Century did have a similar sound to some other popular groups of that era.
BTW which album did you have this on by the Sylvers?
1:19 is what the gumballs fans are looking for
I never watched Gumball in English, I watched only a few out fo context clips and today I found a clip of Gumball singing this and I 100% believed that it was the voice actor singing and was like holy crap Gumball's got the range
Anyway, I'm glad I got introduced to this song, it's beautiful
Who is this Gumball..? 🧐
I've been listening to it for 5 minutes and it already makes me cry😢
