When I started my book, I wrote to have fun always. That's literal how i see art for me and it's exactly what you said, about always enjoying the process.

I did an abstract painting on a large canvas a few years ago and I ended up doing it when I was really annoyed and angry at someone. The piece looked angry. I made a decision then to never paint when I was like that. I only want happy energy in my work.

Just having fun is what these books are about and enjoy the process is a great goal for the book.
3 years isn't so bad shows you don't have to put limitations on yourself either. Mine is taking 4 years and I'm not even a quarter the way through.
I really love the crochet idea. Especially when its made with such soft yarn.
Yes absolutely!!! I really had to learn this, I used to be caught up on making things perfect that I forgot to enjoy it. I take my time now and enjoy it so much more!

The prompts are more fun, so we all jump over the intro pages!! 😂 I love the idea of dots and stars! 🌟 Hmmm... Dangles and zentangle shapes might be fun, too! 🤔 Your soft page is incredible!! 💞 The crocheted patch and the natural looking sheep are perfect!! 🐑 The sheep kind of looks like a cloud, too! ☁️ Your propagation station is awesome!! 🌱

Oh! That create softness one is so clever with the crochet! I never would have thought of that! Honestly, I was at the point I was ready to go buy cotton balls and glue them in, but I also wanted to avoid bulk. I absolutely love the propagation station picture. It is lovely and looks really good with all the green around it!
