    MARK BRYANT
    Age: 39 PB:
Mark is the brains behind top bait firm, Baitworks. His understanding of the things that make carp feed is impressive, and he's a big of a rig enthusiast too. His creations include the mysterious mechano rig, the loop chod and the quick-change hinge rig.
Mark is happy floater fishing, stalking or sitting behind three rods. This versatility has seen him filmed for Korda's Thinking Tackle TV show, alongside the gaffer, Danny Fairbrass.

Most of us would probabally go back to England and get our landing mats slings. And then we would probabally have a little cry 😂😂

The canals in devises are being taken over by bream so all the carp have moved into the docks so I have to walk 5 miles with 1 ton on my back 😈😈😈

Carp smell human scent easily so the heards of carp react to the negative smell. The reason why live bait works well with other fish is because their refined sense of smell allows them to forage naturally in a carnivorous fashion(blood and guts). To distinguish protein from organic vegetation carp have the Best senses

So if a carp picks up ur rig and gets away with it , it changes where the hook bait sits on the hook and spoils ur presentation all the while until u wind that rod in. Hmm. Useless information after the horse has bolted springs to mind. Why not just use a rig that resets the way u want it to sit should a fish get away with it, ready for the next one to slip up on. I wont go on , but i like ur scent from hell , at least with that u can be sure u will get another chance.

I use this rig almost exclusively. I can say one day I decided to chuck out with the loop pulled tight and the hook holds we’re hardly any different to when the loop is normal
