Greetings JT, congratulations on the shiny Blastoise I got 2 shiny gmax Charizards one of them being a 96%, I was so lucky to also get a lucky gmax Blastoise. We were little over 300 people meeting from the Pokemon Go community in Oslo, Norway 🥰
I was fortunate to be able to do 3 of these today each with 20 people. Got 1 of each. Caught the Blastoise on the last ball. Was pretty scared it was going to run.
From what I’ve seen I’m not a fan of how these work, 30 people can’t even beat it, also heard people are getting banned so big no for me good luck to everyone doing these! ❤
Well done & congrats on shiny I did: GIg Blastoise with 36 - failed Tried again after others evolved and powered up we beat it but I didn’t catch as it ran - grrr Next did Gig Charizard with over 30 we failed We did again this time we all in party play groups - down to 2 left but we won and I did catch Hard battles but fun to be in big groups again. Didn’t do more as wasn’t paying for the max particles. It was evident that most people were not prepared and didn’t have evolved or powered up D Max Pokémon.
And this is how Niantic gets money. In a day you can collect +1000 MP and gigantomax raid uses 800 MP. I'd rather wait until they raise the MP collection limit and bring more pokemon gigantomax/dynamax
They should just make him stronger depending on how many people are fighting i feel like they should make it so if only one is fighting its possible to win with lvl 50s and weakness
Hey, so the reason why large groups of people are losing so quickly is because they spent so many of their max particles doing max battles for shinies and hundos, they haven’t been upgrading their Pokémon’s max moves. Also not powering up, said Pokémon. Charizard is especially problematic because there are no max Pokémon who resist both fire and flying yet, plus dragon coverage.
I did max battles for all three starters today with a group of 20 to 26 people, spent much of my dynamax turns using Max level heals and Max guards and building energy. We won 4 of 4 battles on the first try with my normal Dynamax 3-star non shiny Charizard at level 40 with Maxed out Max moves as my MVP. We even managed to beat one with an unleveled Sobble in my party.
Personally I'm skipping the Gigantimax raids unless they get easier but I'll continue to do the 1 star Dynamax raids until I get the full evolutionary lines and be done
We took one out with 17 mons I have images as proof people just need better Mons. just have to better plan and strategize. cannot just hit the button like normal raids... its a good thing they put effort into making the "game" part of this game at last..
Seems like the group I did these with was lucky. Only needed 17 for Charizard. Blastoise we had 22 and only 5 fainted out by time we finished. Venusaur was a pain as some people did not have Metagross to tank Sludge Bomb. After we traded some beldums to those that needed the charge move changed to a grass attack, but we still won with 26. Just a heads up with Blastoise and Venusaur, Metagross is a good pokemon to use as an attacker to lead into the dynamax. It resists ice beam and sludge bomb easily.
800 MP per raid? That’s like only 1 per day. But don’t forget everyone that JT Valor purchases MP from the shop to make his content. At least it’s his job and I don’t have to do this lol. Keep it up JT!
lucky you got pretty dense people around you, but unfortunately, where we live is no Tokyo.... I have not done any gmax raids yet because no people around me
We took all 3 gmax down with 35 players, and i only fainted 2 mon in each raid.. I guess it is not that superhard if each players get the mon prepared before go in
Glad u got your shiny jt i wish I could do these raids but due to my location not many people play gonna have to try convince some friends to trade me the Gmax mons
It seems a lot of players not being prepared along with the ridiculous lobby size requirements is making this absurdly difficult. I’ll admit even I haven’t put too much into the Dynamax mon I’ve caught and only leveled and evolved a few Charizards. Sadly I’m not optimistic about Niantic fixing this to make it easier and well, realistic for most players.
Why did they have to do the same pokemon again? We just finished with the Dynamax battles of Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard? We spent resources to defeat those pokemon, and now we have to spend more $$$ for the same types again. Niantic needed to think this out better.
I was chilling at a local park with 2 giganamax venusaurs right on top of me and I couldn’t do them (I have 2100 mp) but barely anyone plays in my area, they should 100% make them remote raidable, even if you need a special raid pass I would be fine with it they just need to make it to where everyone can get them and not just people in big cities
I was going to do a few .... But there just isn't enough players in the local community. This type of battle is extremely inaccessible and difficult to even use. Is what it is.
I won't spoof and ruin my hard work I've made in my account. I'd rather add this to the pile of useless cash grab features and carry on with things I can do
How many max particles did you use, bro? 😅😂 Nice 93% IV Shiny G. Blastoise 🎉🎉🎉 Btw, the remaining number on the right corner mean Pokemon remaining, not Trainer/People.
I'm so scared. I did find an ambassador with the numbers (I think) but it's so far and how much do I/we have invest to beat these? I don't have a lot of stardust to power up.
I really hate how difficult Niantic made Gigantamax Pokemon. Needing at least thirty people to take down one Pokemon is insane. You have to invest candies and Max Particles to make a limited amount of Pokemon strong enough to possibly take them down. Wanting to encourage more outdoor play is all well and good, but this is just a huge barrier for a lot of people. Unless they make these Pokemon much weaker or more likely eventually introduce a remote way to do these battles, there's no way I can get these Pokemon. As much as I don't like how expensive remote raid passes are, at least they still make the game a bit more accessible. I wouldn't have been able to get most Legendary Pokemon without remote raids and I suspect the same will be the case with Gigantamax Pokemon. It's a shame because I really like the Dynamax/Gigntamax mechanic in Sword/Shield.
I feel like Niantic had to debuff it at least a little bit, it is basically impossible for rural players to play, even ppl in urban communities are struggling.
I'm trying to use campfire to set up a group and even though theres like 35 of us the one good park we always play at somehow has no gmax raids at it. I swear this whole release is a mess.

Theres a difference between fun and difficult and just outright ridiculous. We need remote raids for these to ensure everyone has at least a chance or the game will just be spoofers and ultra city players.
Disheartening to say the least
Honestly I've just accepted that niantic doesn't even want my money and or rual people money, why else they lock remote raids and increased the pricing. They don't want to make the game better, just to stop us from playing and make it impossible for us to enjoy. I've never even did shadow raids because it's just me and my fiance out where we live.
@ods_antiolf we have a decent community despite being rural but getting 40 people together all at the same time is a huge ask. If they were remotable up to 10 players let's say it might be a decent compromise
@@ods_antiolf You should just try do shadow raids. So far all of them are "Quite" easy to duo. I think lugia and zapdos are few which been thought beat on duos unless having very very effiency team to take em down and not sure was lugia possible even then.
But other like mewtwo, moltres, articuno, ho-oh and all johto dogs are definely possible beat duo with 30 lvl mons + good mega. If either one of you got primal boost it make it even easier.
Also can stack max guard up to 3 times
So… I’m never gonna get a g-Max Pokémon… Thanks niantic.
We were 30+ people and did one of each, my Charizard turned out to be shiny 🥳 super happy. IV's are bad but I don't care I'll push it anyway
Awesome. I can’t wait to not get these dynamax pokemon in my small town🙃 thanks for keeping the game inclusive niantic
I live 1 hour from a big city but I can’t just go there whenever I want because I have a life 😭😭😭 I wish I didn’t have a life so I could play Pokemon as much as I want
Those top management personnel in Niantic must be CRAZY! Did these huge updates by add in Gigantamax raid in Pokemon Go but comes out with extremely bad complaints by Pokemon Go players. Wrote a lot of negative complain in various social media. Also the after reward was irrelevant, for example 2 golden raspberries.
Do you all still remember, Mega Raid was first introduced in Pokemon Go also received many negative feedback from players and why Niantic never learned from this lesson.
Cheering bring the dynamax up a lot
I never had a chance to do these anyway since there is no Pokemon Go players around me here, but 800 particles? That is ridiculous. Even I travelled hours to do this I'd only be able to get 1
Do gmax pokemon do anything? Or are they just dmax mons with a different model and better stats
Personally I won’t do as much of them. They’re likely to be featured at go fest irl and global. I’ll prob go to the US date. 100 player lobbies
Greetings JT, congratulations on the shiny Blastoise
I got 2 shiny gmax Charizards one of them being a 96%, I was so lucky to also get a lucky gmax Blastoise. We were little over 300 people meeting from the Pokemon Go community in Oslo, Norway
🥰
I was fortunate to be able to do 3 of these today each with 20 people. Got 1 of each. Caught the Blastoise on the last ball. Was pretty scared it was going to run.
This looks amazing, also hi JT
Not sure if you're going to be playing Day 2 of G-Max Kanto Start evolutions but if you do I look forward to watching the video!
From what I’ve seen I’m not a fan of how these work, 30 people can’t even beat it, also heard people are getting banned so big no for me good luck to everyone doing these! ❤
30 people is plenty, Its just so many aren't using the right pokemon and/or aren't fully evolving and maxing out the mons.
@@JayDogg99 I didn’t even think about that. Good point 👍
i was in a lobby with 39 people and with 90 pokemons in total we won with 14 pokemons left
We were able to compete a charizard and venusaur with 17 ppl today. You got to dodge and heal to survive
Well done & congrats on shiny
I did:
GIg Blastoise with 36 - failed
Tried again after others evolved and powered up we beat it but I didn’t catch as it ran - grrr
Next did Gig Charizard with over 30 we failed
We did again this time we all in party play groups - down to 2 left but we won and I did catch
Hard battles but fun to be in big groups again. Didn’t do more as wasn’t paying for the max particles.
It was evident that most people were not prepared and didn’t have evolved or powered up D Max Pokémon.
And this is how Niantic gets money. In a day you can collect +1000 MP and gigantomax raid uses 800 MP. I'd rather wait until they raise the MP collection limit and bring more pokemon gigantomax/dynamax
its the same as orange raid pass. you get 1 per day. you wan more, spend money
They should just make him stronger depending on how many people are fighting i feel like they should make it so if only one is fighting its possible to win with lvl 50s and weakness
This is harder than searching 7 chests at risky reels. 99% of player can’t do this bc there isn’t enough players.
So funny u raid 30 successfully, while many area got 35+ people to raid but no one raid successfully completed.😂
because they are using gastlys and wooloos
Bro I live so rural that I have never seen anyone else in the lobbies
I 💯 support spoofers on this one. Legit ONLY major population hubs have a shot at taking these down.
My first G-Max raid was a Venusaur, a 1554 CP (Hundo).
It ran. (:
800 MP per raid? That’s like only 1 per day. But don’t forget everyone that JT Valor purchases MP from the shop to make his content. At least it’s his job and I don’t have to do this lol. Keep it up JT!
How many free raids do you get a day?
@@alexsnarr9363you can only get 800mp per day but up to 1000 if you collect them strategically so only 1 raid per day
@@alexsnarr9363 none, they’re not raids they’re battles and you have to spend power dust or whatever it’s called to battle
lucky you got pretty dense people around you, but unfortunately, where we live is no Tokyo.... I have not done any gmax raids yet because no people around me
We took all 3 gmax down with 35 players, and i only fainted 2 mon in each raid.. I guess it is not that superhard if each players get the mon prepared before go in
They better make gigantamax gengar 3 to 5 times easier to actually make it fun
one of my friends got the Shundo blastois on his first G-Max battle🤯
I got a SHUNDO Venusaur from these today!!
Came back for the Dynamax Mons but its ridiculously hard😅
Glad u got your shiny jt i wish I could do these raids but due to my location not many people play gonna have to try convince some friends to trade me the Gmax mons
It seems a lot of players not being prepared along with the ridiculous lobby size requirements is making this absurdly difficult. I’ll admit even I haven’t put too much into the Dynamax mon I’ve caught and only leveled and evolved a few Charizards. Sadly I’m not optimistic about Niantic fixing this to make it easier and well, realistic for most players.
As a rural player, it’s hard enough to get 30 member of the community involved on a regular day.
Why did they have to do the same pokemon again? We just finished with the Dynamax battles of Blastoise, Venusaur, and Charizard? We spent resources to defeat those pokemon, and now we have to spend more $$$ for the same types again. Niantic needed to think this out better.
The rewards are so bad for how difficult it looks, and for the investment you have to make to fight it, I won’t touch the feature ever
I literally did a gigantamax during a graduation ceremony and caught it
I was chilling at a local park with 2 giganamax venusaurs right on top of me and I couldn’t do them (I have 2100 mp) but barely anyone plays in my area, they should 100% make them remote raidable, even if you need a special raid pass I would be fine with it they just need to make it to where everyone can get them and not just people in big cities
I was going to do a few .... But there just isn't enough players in the local community. This type of battle is extremely inaccessible and difficult to even use. Is what it is.
Tbh with how things with gmax are going right now more and more people will spoof
@@lordofpixels0623 I would rather ignore this gimmick feature than risk my hard worked account. Just my opinion tho. :)
Thats what im thinking if they dont nerf this right now there will be more and more spoofer and if they nerf it late the damage is already done
I won't spoof and ruin my hard work I've made in my account. I'd rather add this to the pile of useless cash grab features and carry on with things I can do
How many max particles did you use, bro? 😅😂
Nice 93% IV Shiny G. Blastoise 🎉🎉🎉
Btw, the remaining number on the right corner mean Pokemon remaining, not Trainer/People.
What are the shiny odds on GMAX?
From what I've seen, they're most likely 1/10 or 1/20
1/128
@@nikhilmm6352BS…. it’s 1/10
Obviously 1 in 10 they are legit everywhere I've seen 7 on stream out of maybe 30-35
I live in an area where like nobody plays so I always miss out on these type of events 😢
I'm so scared. I did find an ambassador with the numbers (I think) but it's so far and how much do I/we have invest to beat these? I don't have a lot of stardust to power up.
I was gone camping with family, which was fun, but I couldn’t do anything.
I can’t fight the g-maxs but I got a my first shundo being a shundo pumpkaboo so that was insane
Must be nice to actually be able to do these... Doesn't bode well for when Eternamax Eternatus comes along...
I got a shiny charizard on my very first raid 😇🥰
