I followed exactly what you did, but for some reason my third team didn't die and i managed to clear this in 13 tries. I dont know what happened but i will take it lol
Instead of speeding it up just run at normal speed and put on the screen what to do at the beginning of each turn. I still slow playback to half speed to see what is selected. Have to rewatch several times what was selected to see as well. Wastes more time. Did great at the beginning, then nothing. Thank you as well.
I don't mind if it actually was those things, but it just has too many weird variables when you first enter the map. Like the last time I checked a bush in one of the previous maps, it dropped 4 materials, now it's 10 here. The mill and rockyard that is usually 10? Now it's 15. You won't know this information till you do it, so if you do it by yourself, you're bound to fail with the ever changing information. It's not really well designed and the process won't work till repeated runs.

Total garbage level where you need to do everything in an exact way down to when you purchase and when you upgrade your town. Worst level yet. But you did a great job of working it out.

You're on point. That's how I was able to record these properly, by doing repeated runs until I could figure everything out in one go :3
