I just love how much effort and detail Amanda puts into these letters. She could just write a plain letter and stick it in an envelope, but instead she decorates them, included washi tape samples, stickers, etc. And this is exactly why she’s my favourite youtuber. She’s so kind and thoughtful! ❤️

Just so y'all know, the US postal service is actually struggling right now, and they need more business. Buy stamps, send letters, do it all!
did not know this! in any case i was mostly worried about the health & safety of everyone, due to exchanging mail that has been travelling around the world (and likely touched by many hands). but thank you for letting me know!
@@amandarachlee Fair enough! John Oliver has an episode about how this whole situation is affecting the US postal service, and it's a good source if you're curious and want to have a good laugh!
That was actually the opposite In France ! Telling us to send only essential mail because they had way less people working, they had to close most physical spots and mail was only 3 days a week instead of 6 ! It’s going back to “normal” now but few weeks ago sending mail was really not helping them at all
Draw Your Bliss Sort of the same case in Australia currently. Everyone is struggling to receive letters, mails and packages because they’re only working on weekends since the pandemic has impacted work. Now everyone gets their parcels and such three or four weeks later. Up to two months or so if thats the case. Really sucks :/
I hope everyone stays safe and well in these difficult times. I can understand that its hard and we are all struggling in one way or another. We will *all* get through this together and we will *all* come out happy, safe and healthy.

Your videos give me such a sense of peace and pure joy watching you create bullet journals and caligraphy projects with all these different mediums, though I have to give a special shout out to these penpal videos. Lengthy letters are wonderful! It shows that they care enough to take the time to write such a long letter. They look amazing when the handwriting is in perfect cursive or any sort of handwriting really. Everyone’s handwriting is beautiful, yet they don’t believe it is. I don’t believe mine is beautiful yet other people say it is. Its a weird thing!
Lengthy letters allow me to stop, relax and read a wonderful and well-thought out page or two, maybe even three!
