Lately, there's been a war going on and Claude isn't helping. I checked your videos and found out about Sudowrite and Novel AI. I need something where I can upload the previous chapters and then prompt the future bloody chapters. Which AI should I invest in? Please suggest! Thank you!
There is also a very powerful scene in Little House on the Prairie when little Carrie falls down the well. The whole town works feverishly to get her out, and then the shaft collapses. Everything is quiet. The whole town, each person trying to comprehend in silence that they could not save the little girl. Not even the mother makes a sound. Eerie silence. And then Pa's voice cuts through the night, calling his wife. He carries the girl. They still don't know if she's dead or not. Then Carrie turns her head, dirty but healthy. And then the relief explodes, and you have never seen happier parents and townspeople. Little House on the Prairie had some very strong episodes. Excellent powerful writing.
This happens at the end of Dead Pool 3. Like a Prayer changes in softness as they are dying and you see “You were the best Wolverine”. Then they look at each other and the music explodes and they destroy the machine
The idea that The Eagles could have flown into Mordor is nonsense. Sauron would have spotted them instantly and the Nazgul would have torn the Eagles apart and delivered the ring to their master. Evil wins, the end. Not a good plan.
“Use the force, Luke!” I remember that moment, the whole movie theater cheered! It was incredible!! Just your description of it-the drop- sent chills . Yes such a powerful moment, seconds really, but it WAS the movie, right there, that moment. It was for that moment that we go to movies, read books. Also, why we write, ha ha. I’m that movie we all were united into one humanity against the darkness that separates us. We might not have the opportunity to save it the galaxy, but maybe hold the door for an oldster. Same thing really. Same force. As I’m the greater so I’m the lesser, ha ha.
I think I know what you mean. In Alien when Ripley was all relaxed and ready to go into stasis, and then BAM! The alien was in the escape pod all along.

According to game theory, what is equally important is the “climax” at the beginning of the story: “You need to start with more of a bang-to get their attention. Then you back off and do something a little smaller, to give them a chance to relax and get to know you. Then you gradually build up with bigger and bigger routines, until you give them a grand finale that exceeds their expectations.” This bang at the beginning also needs a buildup. Don't forget that. The bang cannot come out of nowhere. Senseless action doesn't work.
I love terming it the ‘drop’. Definitely going to explore that more in my writing. Quick question. I’ve tried signing up twice for the 40 chapter model and other items, but all I get is the story hacker sign in with no content (there are links to courses and communities, but nothing is there). Where can I find the material you’ve mentioned? Thanks.
Thank you for pointing out this important writing tool. I'm an intuitive writer, so I frequently tend to do this subconsciously, but now that I'm consciously aware of it I can make more intentional use of it. That really helps!

Claude is so fickle. One chat won't let me get started because of uncomfortable content, another chat I'm writing about an incestuous rape scene.

Do you think this can be applied to non-fiction books?
Maybe. I haven’t really thought it through that way but good nonfiction still follows rules of storytelling.
The term is already used in music. Same concept.
How does the work if you're not writing action/adventure?
Depends on the genre but one example would be the moment when a couple looks into each others eyes right before they kiss.
