    The chat was on the right track with how Strength from Victory works that the tokens do not decay, but it's the act of killing a unit that triggers his ability to get attacks until his next turn.
    So think of it as every time Gordrakk kills something (or it dies after he's dealt it damage) he gets 1 token (up to a max of 3) and triggers his +1 attack per token.
    He just has to keep contributing to the killing units to trigger the bonus attacks.

      triggering the +1 attack is a separate line, I think it just happens end of every turn regardless.

      It reads much like a Magic card. The separating paragraph differentiates two separate effects to resolve within the trigger.
      At the end of every turn there is a trigger for the ability.
      The ability checks to see if any units were killed then adds a token if necessary.
      The ability then gives +1 attack per token until the end of the next turn.
      The second part triggers independently even if no new tokens were added that turn.
      Technically it triggers on turn 1, sees no tokens and gives you +0 attacks.

    Thanks for this! I'm very underwhelmed with the battle traits especially compared to kb but the warscroll look OK. As a big waagh player I'm a bit stumped: I have to chose if I prefer fun rules but boring range vs fun range and boring rules:(

    I like Mighty Destroyers. It's free. You can do it twice. Yes, it used to be better, but I don't mourn the loss.
    Momentum seems fixed.
    Warchanter is a toss up. I like the change but I think it may have been nerfed a wee bit too hard. Depends on what the other spells give us.
    I'm happy with the increased saves, but miffed by the decreased rend. Damage going up is nice, but it doesn't make up entirely for 3+/3+ profiles becoming 4+/3+.

      Its really not going to make up for it when we see Brutes are like 220 points now.

      @@rotm4447 points are easily the lesser of all problems, as they are adjusted when factions don’t perform well. If at launch it’s 220 points brutes and 650 points Maw Crusha, they’re unlikely to stay that way if the army doesn’t work.

      @@xavierwt Points creep they don't plummet. Elite infantry that don't get played because they're expensive and slow i.e. the worst unit archetype historically in the game, generally stay bad or at best become marginal after 2 years of drops. Giving them a warscroll that looks like things they point in the 200+ range doesn't inspire my confidence in them. Reinforced with teleport(if it exist), waagh, killa beat, and the formation they'll be at 160 max damage if they roll that 8+ charge though.

    Maybe a command traite: use mighty destroyer on 3 units. Or make a 6 inch move or something.
    We will see a teleport spell for sure.
    Maybe a artefact let us do 3 commands with 1 cp. Then u can go all out attack to ,,counter" the 4+ to hit

    Everyone saying brutes are stronger are delusional. they lost -2 rend for situational rend. they gained +1 damage on just 3 models over their old ones at a cost of 50% chance damage possible from warchanter. they lost -1 to hit and lost +1 to hit vs 4 wound or higher units. We also havent seen points. +1 to save is good till you realize we lost mystic shield and 3 commands of all out defense

    did anyone mention no smashing and bashing. kill a unit attack with another unit is gone. even worse with all the strike last and first strikes being added to other armies

      Agreed. Retreat & charge + mortal damage to enemy units - mortal damage to your own units + the opportunity to get an 8+ again on the charge + 2 free Momentum = immediate reaction « that’s bad »

      Oof, hard disagree on this one. I think there’s something to be said if op was complaining the day away but…he really isn’t. I would be, and am upset at the lack of rules we got. The rules we did get are lame and take IJZ in a direction I don’t like. Moss is entitled to be upset and while I get your take, reacting to negative rules isn’t necessarily a bad thing at all. I honestly just think he comes from a slightly more competitive lens than an average AoS player, and that’s a-okay.
      This being said I just switched to AoS after a long run in 40K. I don’t necessarily know community norms

      @@VeznansDeadbeatDad I think you’re a little off here. The first element Moss was reacting negatively to was the change to Mighty Destroyer. In simple terms it used to be a Timmy thing, it got replaced with a Spike thing. The new version isn’t as showy but tactically it’s what this army needed. It’s crazy strong. The second element he reacted negatively to was a really good Rampage that enables a lot of movement and damage, and has good synergy with the aforementioned rule. From a casual standpoint I see the disappointment of facing the unfamiliar. From a matched play perspective, it’s really good. Reacting negatively to this change feels… it’s what I’m hoping from watching an Ork expert.

    So happy bout this one. compared ot other armies losing lethality and toughness, we gained some, i think tech will be on other scrolls and spells. Kragnos will be strong in this army, he can get +1 dmg +1 attack and crit 2 hits from what we've seen, which gets his lethality super high, as well as giving an almost assured +1 attack from charge with his 3d6

    If you go 2nd in the 1st turn you can redeploy with the Maw-Grunta to get 2 extra momentum points. Redeploy is a RUN ability. So you can charge bottom of turn 1 with 3 momentum points (with Mighty Destroyers you can charge 10"+3"+d6 redeploy + 2d6 from your deployment).

    Ironjawz is now an army where you move up 3" away and then don't charge, can't make it up.

      You can move up to 6 inches away and move into combat range (3’’) without needing to charge. Likely to be pretty good on Maw Grunta with Hakka Crew.

      The nerf from 3+/3+ to 4+/3+ on Brutes and the Warchanter does amount to a 33% drop in damage. (44% hit and wounds scored vs 33%) so I don't know if I agree.

      One unit in our hero phase. I'm unfamiliar with bloodlust. Where can I find the rule? Did you mean Murderlust? If so...
      They can do it three times, us only once (so far). D6 move and not 3.
      Similar, but different. We shall see how good it is.
