Love it when you mention Jessica Braun! She fan-girls over you, too, and it is so great to see people uplift one another, especially in this community.
Waking up early to drink some coffee and watch a Taylor vlog before my child wakes up is my introverted alone time! Thanks for helping me recharge my social battery. xx
Taylor, you are wise beyond your years. I'm consistently impressed by your perspective on life. The extroverted introvert/time spent doing things makes so much sense! 💙
Doing curly hair properly does take a ridiculously long time, and sometimes I get so frustrated at how long the styling process takes, but it's so worth it when I look at my hair being all bouncy and curly instead of just frizzy and fluffy!
I have super curly hair and it doesn't take me long at all. I just use WEN to cleanse twice. Then when I hop out of the shower I put a quarter size amount in my hair as a leave in conditioner (I have super long hair) then I use a wide tooth comb to get any knots out. Flip my head over and scrunch scrunch scrunch, then let it air dry. I scrunch every now and then since its so long and thick it takes a very long time to dry all the way.
I can only comment on myself here but I've always been an introvert but can extrovert when in the situation, like you. My husband is the first person ever that I've felt like I can still just be in his presence. When I had kids, my focus switched toward them - like I almost don't mind forsaking my alone time for them. But I've never been one of those mom and baby group moms so I still have some introvert boundaries. I'm also very lucky that my hubs is very good about taking the kids to do something while I take some time for me. I guess for people like us, the success of family life requires the right person who understands you and supports your boundaries. Glad you're enjoying your nomad life - totally living vicariously through you right now haha! Stay safe and take care of you, Taylor!
Nice apartment! Except for no TV in the living room, and the kitchen seems to have a lot of wasted space in the middle. I think you're right; an island would be good for more counter space.
You can definitely still find that alone time even kids and a partner. I have three boys under seven. I waited until I was older to have children and I think that has given me the confidence to carve out myself in that madness without worrying what others opinions are about the way I parent. It’s definitely doable! And it is definitely a muscle. The more you use that social muscle, the easier it gets to use it.
The water 💧 in New York is very good. I had great hair and moisturized skin, lived in ny 32 yrs.very hard water in Massachusetts need a water softener. Live in Massachusetts for 25 yrs. so yup 👍 I’ve done the research 🧐
I'm an introvert living with a partner who is also an introvert and here are my tips: 1. even if you have combined hobbies have your own thing you can do w out them. 2. if you can have multiple rooms so you can do stuff ~away from the other person or at least have designated spaces for alone time 3. communicate kindly when you want alone time. It's been almost 7 years of us together and that's what has worked for us.
Just your little side comment about when you noticed the girl taking the snow selfie made me feel good. Like, hey I could be out in my life doing things, and unbeknownst to me, someone could notice and be sending good vibes my way. Seems like nowadays when people have stray thoughts about strangers it's usually negative or judgemental. But it's very refreshing to hear a random thought of encouragement.
i know i’m a true introvert because even after being around people i love i’m exhausted. going to the grocery store exhausts me. honestly i might just be chronically tired 😂
I'm an extroverted introvert. I married a very quiet man, so he respects my need for quiet. Now as for kids, two years ago we became foster parents, so we've had several come through our home. Some days you get used to the chaos and some days you yearn for that quiet solitude, but it is what it is. 🙃
I can so relate to the social stuff. I can put in a couple busy days with people but then I need a day or two to unwind or be by myself. I usually wont even watch tv. Being a mom of 3 girls there were a lot of nights once my husband was home I’d just go for a drive.
I totally agree with you that the more you are in social situations the more you become ok with it. I'm an introvert and I've noticed that when I'm not pushed to be social often I start feeling a lot of social anxiety whereas when I have to be social often I'm very confident in doing that.
I’m lucky in I live with an extroverted introvert. I’m totally introvert, we complement each other. His 11 and 8 year olds however, I find myself needing time. I’ve learnt it’s ok to need space instead of forcing myself to please everyone else
This apartment is so cute and happy! I'm loving traveling vicariously through you and I'm loving the diverse content you're able to put out while traveling 😊
Taylor you rocked that winter coat with the fur hood! It looks great on you! Your Boston apartment is so nice I loved that table by the window where you have your laptop that area looks so perfect .
I'm just outside of Boston and its so lovely to see you here! Glad you were fine with the storm, it was a TIME. Please be careful with the freeze Saturday!!
Totally feel you on the extroverted introvert... When I'm in social settings I can really enjoy myself, but too much and I hit burn-out BAD... I used to work full time in an office and have social activities a few times a week, but then would sleep 15+ hours on Sunday just to recharge before work on Monday.
You are so right about being social. Its kinda like a muscle. I have to network and do outreach for a living. People think you just get to take it easy and go events and talk it up. Its taxing and takes a planning and strategy to do it well. Very tiring at end of week.
As an introvert about to start a new chapter in life (new job, new city) I really appreciate your insight about socializing! It also made me realize that I need to travel/get out more. Thank you as always for your content ❤️❤️❤️
I'm the exact same w social interactions! Strangers are fine, and being with friends is great, but social events just drain me. OH, also my mom and I use that same razor and we love it!
MA native here. Do a day in Quincy! You can take the red line down to Quincy Center and check out the local restaurants. For the beach, take the red line to Wollaston. Wollaston beach is about a half hour walk from the station, but the view of the Boston skyline is incredible. If you want a good walk, the sugar bowl at Castle Island is always a good time. Lincoln Tavern on West Broadway is great too!
Hi Taylor I suffer from chronic migraines and I noticed that lumify eye drops trigger my migraines and cause aura. Just wanted to share my experience. I hope you have a very happy new year.
I highly recommend the Leaf Shave ones if you're looking for a great sustainable "men" razor. They come in this beautiful gold finish that I think you'll love. However, they're a safety razor
That apartment is adorable! I’m obsessed with the design choices. Also, totally feel you on styling curly hair. I have naturally wavy/curly hair and I think unless your hair is suuuper curly, it’s way more cumbersome to get it to look good air dried than it is to just blow dry it straight (for me at least). Every couple of years I try to embrace my natural curl and then I just end up going back to styling tools!
Hope your photos turn out the way you wanted and that you felt better. I am loving living vicariously through you! This makes me want to go back into my 20s and move farther away from home and do all the things!! Thank you for taking us along with you on your journey! ❤️
Love this! I hope you do apartment hunting here like you did for NYC - really curious about space and rents in Boston and would love to see the city (never been).
As a married introvert, there's something about my husband in particular where I can be with him for a long time and it's just not a problem. Any time we go on vacation, we really enjoy it.. Our work schedules during the week don't match perfectly, so I do get some time during the week to be on my own.
Taylor if the NY apartment was in an older building you probably had heavy minerals/ hard water which caused oil over production to counteract the hard water. Obagi makes a mineral removing shampoo which you can use once or twice a week.
I love when I’m watching my favorite TH-camrs and they mention each other. You and Jessica mention each other often and I love it. Sarah Rae Vargas mentioned you in one of her last vlogs the other day 🥰
I love watching others enjoy snow. Our snow melted like 3 inches we got all year.. then it was 43. Next day 20 degrees & 10 inches of snow... I live in Minnesota. People generally think people in Minnesota love snow.. I'll speak for myself but I don't lol
Love your vlogs! Your recommendations are always solid! Common misconception about introvert and extrovert. A good way to think about it is ‘what fills or drains your cup’. Introvert’s cups get drained from interacting and they need the time to recharge. It isn’t that they don’t enjoy being with others just that it takes a lot of energy. Extrovert’s do not need the time to recharge alone. Their cups get filled from interacting with others.
Your place looks so cute! I also know you mentioned NYC feeling like a college town because of the Publix transportation, and as someone who doesn’t drive, I 1000% love places like that. I hope you enjoyed the snow and continue to enjoy your time in Boston! 💜
Just watched Jessica this morning!! I do hope your photos turned out!!! Sorry about your stress and pain!! I hope you continue to enjoy Boston! I loved my visit there!!! Always love your videos!! Blessings to you, Taylor!! ✌💚🙏
I love Boston it’s a beautiful town. If I had to choose between New York Boston or Chicago I would pick Chicago In a heartbeat. In the summertime that lake is like looking at the beach I loved it.
Mid thirties, NW Florida mom of 2 girls.. In another life I would want to live in that apartment and definitely be in Boston. Also, suavital fabric softener is big down here in the south. It’s amazing!
This apartment is such a vibe! Completely up my alley. I'm such a boho gal but her styling is just to die for. Been watching all your travel vids this morn and bet youre loving having all this space after spending almost 2 months in such a cramped space in nyc Boston seems so quaint and cute!
The way I think of Introvert/Extrovert-ism is that if you are an extrovert social, busy, noisy environments give you energy where if you are an introvert quiet, alone, calm environments give you energy. I do think you can get used to one situation or another but I don't think you can change your base inclination.
Taylor: your hair looks gorgeous using the bumble and bumble curl products! It has never looked better! The length is so flattering on you, too! Gorgeous!!!
My daughter is lactose Intolerant and autistic and she LOVES the cauliflower cheezits lmao! There's also a butternut squash version that she DEVOURS as well. Definitely one of her safe foods.
“The more you do it, the more you get used to it” yes girl! That’s exposure therapy. It’s very effective for many different things in your life. Especially if you have anxiety.
I have 1 and will never have more. Don't get me wrong I love my daughter more than life itself but I'm not the mom type and will be miserable with more kids.
As for the family, introverted, etc. Thing.. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years and we both very much need our alone time. We live in a pretty small apartment but what works for us is separating ourselves into different rooms (him in the living room, me in the bedroom, or vice versa) and do our own thing. It doesn't work for everyone but it works for us 🤷♀️ As for the kid thing. It gets easier when they get older. My son just turned 7 and as long as he's busy with something he will chill in his own room solo for awhile
MN person here! Eddie Bauer is 100% recommended for the cold cold so NICE CHOICE
Love it when you mention Jessica Braun! She fan-girls over you, too, and it is so great to see people uplift one another, especially in this community.
Right? Don’t you love when your fave loves your other fave?
Me too! I love Jessica!
I immediately thought... that certainly just made Jessica's night! Love that.
@@maria.jimena1516 wouldn't it be great if they filmed a get ready together? I would love that!
I agree! What a sweet thing to do!
The kitchen is such a happy space. Not just for the food LOL (thats a bonus) but the colours and everything about the kitchen is just so calming.
I agree 💚 I love it
Waking up early to drink some coffee and watch a Taylor vlog before my child wakes up is my introverted alone time! Thanks for helping me recharge my social battery. xx

Pausing to write this comment that your hair naturally curly is BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so envious. You are so lucky to have that head of hair.
I can only comment on myself here but I've always been an introvert but can extrovert when in the situation, like you. 3am anxiety/crying attack. Watching Taylor for some relief. Thank you so much for these. They help so much when life is hard. ❤️🥺
Girl same on being introverted but extroverted with the right people or just being kind to a person at the store brings me up too
The opening scene got me girl! My
Son is an engineer for Amtrak in Boston!
That is my dream bedroom paint color
Bumble and bumble had been around for years. I used to like it alot not sure why I quite. Have to check it out again!
As a fellow curly headed person… I’m LIVING for your curly hair ❤️😍

Wow I really needed to hear the beginning point about just getting out there and getting more comfortable doing it. Really needed that.
I'm an extroverted introvert. I married a very quiet man, so he respects my need for quiet. Now as for kids, two years ago we became foster parents, so we've had several come through our home. Omg I am obsessed with the bird leg side table in the bathroom!
Tatte Bakery & Cafe is the best thing that’s happened to Boston in a while. Amazing food and the locations are just so heavenly.
You are so right about being social. Its kinda like a muscle. I have to network and do outreach for a living. People think you just get to take it easy and go events and talk it up. Its taxing and takes a planning and strategy to do it well. Very tiring at end of week.
You have me hooked on thrive. Maybe you should do whole thing on what all you order/ product reviews
My hometown!!! I miss it so much!!!!
I live 15min from Boston it’s so nice to see you here!! It’s a beautiful city I hope you love it!!🥰
This is such a cute apartment! I love the way it’s decorated.
I absolutely love this space. When you did the tour i kept saying “oh i love that!” 😂 i really like the layout. Reminds me of my first apartment 🥰
I concur I luv it too so cute 🥰
That fabric softener is one you can find in Mexican stores. It is heavily perfumed
The curly hair looked beautiful!

from someone who has similar wavy hair-- it takes longer in the beginning but now my waves last for days so I dont need to be touching it up!
curly hair with this lenght looks amazing !

The decor is consistent with a very New England vibe. Which makes it better! Lynn
you can purchase that laundry softner at dollar tree i like the blue and the yellow one
The apartment is sooooo cute!!

Loved the wavy hair!
I'm OBSESSED with this apartment
I'm deciding how to organize and decorate my apartment so I looove when u do your apartment tours, mostly for that reason lol thanks
What a cute, fun apartment! It definitely looks like a creative, happy space! Enjoy your adventures in Boston!
Your place looks so cute! I also know you mentioned NYC feeling like a college town because of the Publix transportation, and as someone who doesn’t drive, I 1000% love places like that. I hope you enjoyed the snow and continue to enjoy your time in Boston! 💜
I'm so glad you mentioned the Bumble & Bumble curl products because I couldn't find the IG post where you mentioned them!

Taylor: your hair looks gorgeous using the bumble and bumble curl products! It has never looked better! The length is so flattering on you, too! Gorgeous!!!
I so agree!
I thinks so too! Your hair looks so amazing!!
I agree! I prefer the full, natural curls 🤩
AH so glad you are in Boston, it's one of my happy places!
Your smile speaks volumes
My daughter is lactose Intolerant and autistic and she LOVES the cauliflower cheezits lmao! There's also a butternut squash version that she DEVOURS as well. Definitely one of her safe foods.
As a Texan in 80 degree “winter” weather, I’m LOVING the snow you’re experiencing. Living vicariously.
Love when it gets to a chilly 50 degrees at night here lol
I have been living for your videos lately, especially your vlogs!!! Thank you for all the great content! ☺️
“When you know it’s a bad idea but, you keep doing it”.. my life everyday 🤣🤣🤣
Love the apartment....
Suavitel is a very popular fabric softener in Mexico, but its found in texas too and I’m assuming all over the US.
Devina dolmas are good. I get them all the time.
“The more you do it, the more you get used to it” yes girl! That’s exposure therapy. It’s very effective for many different things in your life. Especially if you have anxiety.
Being an extreme introvert with a husband & kids is hard. I’ve trained my entire family to know when to leave me alone lol
The yellow suavitel is my fav 👍🏻
I’m obsessed with that kitchen!! 10 out of 10!!
Makeup looks beautiful today! Love your Vlogs!
LOL at Taylor loving the Suavitel - that's a Mexican staple! My mom still uses it to this day
The style of this place is so amazing!!! I wish I had that ability… my house is so not cohesive and has zero style lol
I live 30 minutes from Boston. It extremely cold today.
I’m living for this. As a married mother of three very young children, I’m traveling through you 😂😂😂
Ditto! Although I can't imagine three. Two is crazy enough.
My kids are grown, but still……🤫
Don’t regret them. Enjoy them.
I have 1 and will never have more. Don't get me wrong I love my daughter more than life itself but I'm not the mom type and will be miserable with more kids.
Pity you didn’t take precautions then if your not the mom type. So irresponsible. Shame on you.
That kitchen is so cool!
The thrive market boxes are so freakin cute with the sea foam color.
If I miss any videos of yours I have to binge watch them all
I screenshoted so much of this apartment. So my taste!
I've been trying to read more so I love your mini book reviews
As for the family, introverted, etc. Thing.. I've been with my boyfriend for 5 years and we both very much need our alone time. We live in a pretty small apartment but what works for us is separating ourselves into different rooms (him in the living room, me in the bedroom, or vice versa) and do our own thing.
It doesn't work for everyone but it works for us 🤷♀️
As for the kid thing. It gets easier when they get older. My son just turned 7 and as long as he's busy with something he will chill in his own room solo for awhile
