By far my favourite boss/villain in the game. There was something very appealing to me in the Gernichora's story so I approached scoring this segment as if I was writing a love song sung to her by one of her minions. Acoustic guitar is played by yours truly and prepared violin was performed by my friend Jan Szarecki.

Just like the movie Inception wouldn't be the same without Hans Zimmer, Thronebreaker wouldn't be the same without you guys. The music really enhances the story.
Thronebreaker is a surprisingly immersive game despite the fact that you just play with cards. This is all thanks to the amazing environment that the soundtrack helps build.
much appreciated :)
My favorite tracks in the game. Starts with this tense atmosphere and then, when the battle begins it is it just pure awesomeness. Bravo :)
i eat shit
I destroyed those stones... then this music played... got me scared to shit xD
This song is so chilling and creepy. The atmosphere is perfect. It inspired a character I'm writing for my D&D campaign, and basically this is his theme song. Thronebreaker had awesome soundtracks
Also the idea to have a calm version and a fight version is just very cool I think. I hated the swamp in this game but in a good way. Like I felt like Meve's soldiers going through it : creeped out and tired of all the fights. Was one of the best level and music helped with the immersion.
@@Najahfreeman Awesome! I'm happy to have contributed to your D&D adventure ;)
@@p.t.adamczyk1310 :D
I did the same, I made a warlock with a hag as patron inspiring myself with this theme! :D. What kind of character did you do?
@@Diegoag2012 To correct be correct it's an NPC as i'm a GM. It was a vampire. Sophisticated yet very dangerous and manipulative.
These ghastly creatures can be slain! They can be overcome!
Despite the swamp being my least favorite part of the game, your music helped me through it! There's a a sense of something gross lurking in the shadows of the woods which perfectly reflects the area. Completed the game tonight and I had a blast! Thank You and CDProjekt for another narrative rollercoaster!
I really Love this Soundtrack how it slowly builts up and when we come to the part at 3:26 you Just want to dance or hum to the melodie. Thronebrakers soundtracks Like in Witcher 3 are all just amazing and its also an awesome game overall.
I’ll never forget this game and it’s beautiful music. This was probably my favorite chapter of the game. So oppressive and creepy!
same here. Angren was spooky.
Tyle jest dobrych utworów waszego autorstwa które polubiłem, chodźby Mandragora w krwi i winie. Albo dajmy i na to, The Story You Won't Belive z podstawki.
Wcześniejsze utwory, i mam tu na myśli jeden konkretny Evening In The Tavern z wiedźmina pierwszego.
Ale Ysgith ma coś unikatowego, coś co sprawia że nawet nocne mokradła Velen tracą na wartości.
I Velen musi ustąpić miejsca Angren. Utwór leci do polubionych :D
Your music sets up the most peculiar and fascinating atmospheres, I can't help but listen to your tracks when writing stories. Keep up that amazing work!
The Gladiator thanks and good luck with your writing!
The best game I've played in last 3 years
Well the...ITS TIME TO REPLAY THE WITCHER 3 AGAIN!
Witcher wouldn't be the same without your music
Nailed the atmosphere with this one
"I pity the Kengan Team, because you have to fight Lolong......"
Amazing work. This melody has been stuck in my head for days now. So beautiful and haunting.
Been stuck for weeks in mine by now. Touching something within, so beautiful...
Mój ulubiony soundtrack z Thronebreakera. Najprzyjemniejsza lokacja z gry.
The chills are real.
Heavily underrated game. Sad there won´t be a successor.
Jak szybko przechyliła się szala!
I've never played this particular witcher game but I really love these songs
You make the best soundtracks.
I'm just a fan of yours, your music makes my body rush through the shutters of my imagination, painting pictures. Please, TREATMENT, MAESTRO
прекрасная мелодия
you guys are crazy good, these songs struck a cord for long time in me.
AWESOME!!! I LOVE YOU MUSIC, MAN!
CD Project RED always has incredible music,
goosebumps
thanks for this amazing track
the best one in thronebreaker
Amazing. Get chills listening to this. Are you doing any soundtracks for any upcoming movies?
Nope, no movies at the moment. I work as an in-house composer at CDPR so my main focus right now is cyberpunk 2077.

Holy moly I know this soundtrack is going to be awesome. I heard some of your commercial track on SoundCloud and you can nail atmospheres.
Hwl. Thanks!
cudowne
Are there, by any chance, any tabs available for this gem? I'd love to play it in my garden at nights.
Thank you. Your work at CPDR is amazing, Thronebreaker's OST is outstanding and deserves waaaaay more fame and praise than it got, it's one of the best video game OST I know of. And Phantom Liberty is great as well! I've been listening to your music on a regular basis for almost two years now. I could have said this under any other track of yours, but I chose this one because... it's just got that something I can't describe that perfectly fits the theme. Also, I wonder, what's the instrument playing in the background at 3:10 and 3:19? Is that the violin?
Thank you magean, it means a lot! The part you refer to has sampled strings playing the background melody (the sparser one with more held notes). The more foreground thing is played by a prepared violin (some mutes plus tuned down a whole step) and acoustic guitar tuned DADFAD.
@@p.t.adamczyk1310 Wow, thanks for answering quickly and so thoroughly! And I hope to listen to more of your art in the upcoming games 🙂
