After the US pulled out some units of their troops in 2014, my family and I were threatened by the adversaries we fought against. My children couldn't attend school, and I couldn't find independent work. I stopped working with the US Army in 2015, and they helped us relocate to the US in 2019. I've been working as a janitor at the same school my children attend. Unfortunately, my children sometimes face bullying and ridicule because of my job, which deeply troubles me. I'm 100% Puertorrican and I was a Bilingual kindergarten public school teacher in NY city. Most of my students were from Mexico. Their culture and traditions are beautiful, especially their food as any other in the WORLD. WE are all connected. 🙏❤️🌹
