One suggestion I took from the wonderful book by St Louis De Montfort called The Secrets of the Rosary is to think of each Hail Mary as a rose that you are delicately handing to the Blessed Mother. That is indeed what the Rosary is, a bouquet of roses. Visualizing your prayers like this can help you to pray and not simply say a Rosary. It should never feel rushed.
