Yes you do. It’s not too bad. Take loads of pictures and label everything and you’ll be fine. Just make 100% sure you know how to discharge the filter capacitors and know how to use a meter to check 👍
The clean channel modes are all fender blackface derivatives. Nothing classic Marshall about any of them . The crunch channel is where the classic Marshall circuit starts
Hey Rubberduck Tech, do you know if the channel switching speed can be improved on the stock JVM? When Marshall did the Satriani version of the amp, the channel switching speed was massively improved. I read it was because the noise-gates were able to make it faster than the reverbs, but don't know how true that is. Is this something that can be modded?
@@RDamps ok. That's ok. Good choice. I use orange mode on the od 2 channel the most for leads. And orange more on the crunch channel for Rush's fly by night
Really great sounds coming from this amp. Nicely played too!
great tone and chops!
Great amp and very nice play through!
Nice Sound Chris! Makes me wish I'd kept my JCM 800
Nice video! You really got good sounds out of that amp.
Excellent my friend! What cabinet and speakers are you using?
great video! bitchin tones. I love my 410H!
Yeah, I’m gassing for one to be honest
sounds great is that a matching cab?
No, just my own 4x12 with Greenbacks and V30’s
Is the JVM 410H 100% tube overdrive or does it use diode clipping?
The signal path is 100% tube my man! The reverb is digital though. Brilliant circuit though.
@@RDamps Thanks, good too know!!
how are you recording the guitar? that sounds fantastic and just like sitting next to it
He is using a Reactive Load I.R
what power attenuator were you using in this video?
Hi, how did you remedy the sticking switch? Did you remove the cover plate?
No I just filed it down with a needle file. Handy being a model maker 🤣
@@RDamps thanks, I take it you had to remove the pcb first. Mine is similar.

Hi, do you mod these? I've seen videos of some modded and they scream.
I do, I didn’t mod this one as the customer wanted it stock to sell on.
Your face! That OD1 is the shizzle.
It really is.
Which mode on OD1?

And those clean tones are beautiful.
So did you really have presence of resonance dimed? Most ppl say that both should be completely down. Did you buy it?
I use mine with resonance on full and presence on noon. Sounds fat and clear

Sorry not that I know of. But now you mention it I do remember reading that. I will look into it!
@@RDamps cool! If you find anything let us know!
What are your settings, if you don't mind?
