What is the maximum time for the offer letter to come ? I've applied in UoR on 17th October and it's been a month . It's showing " ready for review" in application status portal . Should i wait for the final decision more or is it enough time ?
The review timelines varies based on your program usually takes 2-3 months

Hi, I don’t really know about the admission requirements for the MBA program here but you can always send the graduate coordinator for the MBA program an email and inquire about the accurate procedures for sending your supporting documents so that you are assured of the correct information

Yes, I proceeded with the visa application.
When you get a scholarship does it cover living expenses or just tuition fees only
Mostly scholarships cover for tuition fees however it varies from school to school
I have done small research on unv of Regina,can i upload just the original transcript, cert etc and can i go for the reference letters to upload them to or.
You’ll have to start the application first then you’ll upload the documents on the application portal

I think it differs from school to school, for my school you have the whole semester to pay the fees but it comes at a fee

please when is the best time to apply to U of R and for one to be considered for scholarship. for instance if i apply for september next year 2025, how long will it take for them to offer admission and after paying the tuition deposit, when am i likely to start class?
I think the portal opens around September every year so it’s advisable to get all your documents ready before that time
They usually respond in a couple of months after the deadline for applications is due
There are 2 deadlines If you apply by the first deadline in November you are likely to get response by January Fall intake

The application deadlines differ from school to school … you’ll have to check the school’s website for your respective program deadline
Can I apply with second class lower division I am from Nigeria
I believe it would depend on the program you are planning to study, I’ll suggest you send the graduate coordinator of your preferred program an email

Please ma just want to hear from your own experience before you get admission at memorial university,after your application has been submitted and it showing in your students portal that your application has been submitted how long does it take before you where giving an admission.

Thanks for sharing. Do you mind shedding more light on the scholarship you receive at UofR after you started. Was it in your first semester? How much was it? And did you have to apply for it or you were automatically considered for it once you registered for classes.
So the scholarship I received at UofR was in my first semester, and I applied for it in the second month of the first semester. Well the scholarship amount was enough to cover the tuition costs for the second semester, so it came in handy. However my school has a website for scholarships for graduate students where they post scholarships available every semester.. I think most schools should have that😊

The school application took about 3-4 months and the visa was 3 months

Can you give us information about the proof of funds. I was doing a bit of research and read something about having a specific amount of money in your bank account. Is that true or they just need you to have some money that you can use to sort yourself out after landing?
Well, I think you are required to have the equivalent of your tuition fees plus CA$10,000 to cover living expenses but you can read more about the exact requirements on this website “ www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/get-documents.html”

Hello please did you receive a confirmation email containing your student Id after submitting your application??
Also, I attached my supporting docs with my online application and had paid but when I open the account to check my status I only see the summary of my contact details, that is, my name n address
There is no checklist for my documents or to know if my references have been sent

Yes I received a confirmation email after submitting, I'll suggest you give it a day or 2 for it to reflect. If it still doesnt show on the summary , send the graduate coordinator an email about it. All the best

So in October last year, the school sent an email regarding available scholarships for students and I applied for it. ☺️

Hi, at the time i applied I wasn’t required to pay any deposit, it was introduced recently. I paid my part of my tuition before applying for my visa, but you can proceed with the visa application after paying the deposit
