Alright, if anyone wants some kill stats for nerds, I've gotcha. Here's what moves Byleth killed with, and the number of times it happened (NOTE: these numbers will include the Scend set that is not featured in the vid. I'll make a note per move for this): Up air: 12 (Of these, 10 are the fabled MKLayup, AKA D-tilt into U-Air, and 1 of those was from the Scend set) Forward air: 11 (1 from Scend) Back air: 10 ( The Scend set is 3 of these and the coveted Up-B to Bair happened 4 times, with 1 of them being on Scend) Side B: 5 (1 from Scend) Up Smash: 4 (1 from Scend) Down Smash: 3 (2 of these were air dodge reads, 1 was a tech chase) Dash Attack: 2 (Only 1 was from a Nair) Forward Tilt: 2 (1 from Scend) Then 1 each for Down air, Down Tilt, Up Tilt, Neutral B, Back Throw, and Up B Spike from Scend. That makes Jab, Forward Smash, Neutral Air, and Down B (plus all of the other throws) as the only moves he didn't kill with. The Joker killed with: 2 Back Air 1 Forward Air 1 Forward Smash 1 Up Smash 1 Down Smash 1 Neutral B (The sequence this was a part of was one of, if not THE slickest Joker clip ever) 1 Side B 1 Dash Attack Aegis had: 3 Back Air 2 Up air (With 1 MKLayup) 2 Jab 1 Down Air 1 Forward Air (The only Mythra kill)
Watching after Genesis X where Leo got 25th to feel better about life...he may not be the best anymore but to me this tournament really proves that at one point in time, he truly was head and shoulders above everyone else

But he takes it even further with pressure then capitalizes as soon as you make a mistake. He's a beast with spacing, pressure, and influence. That's why everyone he faces seems tense while he's just chill.
I’ll add one final comment. Yes, I’ve also been one to agree that Acola got MU checked here, but let’s not forget his other sets weren’t just 3-0 either (and he lost to Zomba), even though he’s playing the “broken” character. Acola’s got a long way to go before I’ll start comparing him to Leo

amazing games my man! cant wait for you to come back and give us some more exciting gameplays!
Haters were waiting the minimal chance to show their ejvy, and now they have to swallow it all again. Congratulations king, I swear, every time I see you play I just think there might not be another one this good ever again in smash
Never doubted the King. Well deserved win and once again you proved to everyone you are uncontested. More so now with different characters in your pocket. Love it!
FORMA DE LEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOO!
Leo's wheel of Joker, Pyra/Mythra, and Byleth is so deadly and he showed it off perfectly here.
Big props to Kurama for being the first to get a point off Leo’s streak.
One and only!
I was really hoping for a Sparg0 Mkleo grands and got a huge surprise seeing a tournament where the two elites from Mexico didn’t face off in bracket
Incredible gameplay honestly a fucking masterclass
Muchas felicitaciones Leo. Ese día la paz jamás fue una opción, definitivamente eres el mejor del mundo.
This honestly felt like I was watching Kratos slay uh bunch of Gods and Titans...Leo is an absolute monster 💀
This is why you never doubt leo. Dude is still an absolute monster at this game. Nothing beats watching leo dismantle every other competitor
HES MAD GUYS
once against cosmos
once against dabuzz
twice against asimo
once against sonix
twice against acola
those are the times that Leo placed so much pressure on their oponents that just him standing still, pushed them to make a mistake that would cost them a stock, out of pure, raw, intimidation.
what a madman.
He's just standing there. MENACINGLY.
Congrats on the win! What an AMAZING tournament!!
El retorno del rey, que clases les pegaste compa.
Leo real smash fans know you’re the goat and levels above the competition.
Damn if Leo hadn't lost one game, he would've fought Akuma at the end.
Akuma destroyed an island with one punch. It’s clearly obvious who would win
Leo would 3 stock Akuma by just using his pinky
Alright, if anyone wants some kill stats for nerds, I've gotcha. Here's what moves Byleth killed with, and the number of times it happened (NOTE: these numbers will include the Scend set that is not featured in the vid. I'll make a note per move for this):
Up air: 12 (Of these, 10 are the fabled MKLayup, AKA D-tilt into U-Air, and 1 of those was from the Scend set)
Forward air: 11 (1 from Scend)
Back air: 10 ( The Scend set is 3 of these and the coveted Up-B to Bair happened 4 times, with 1 of them being on Scend)
Side B: 5 (1 from Scend)
Up Smash: 4 (1 from Scend)
Down Smash: 3 (2 of these were air dodge reads, 1 was a tech chase)
Dash Attack: 2 (Only 1 was from a Nair)
Forward Tilt: 2 (1 from Scend)
Then 1 each for Down air, Down Tilt, Up Tilt, Neutral B, Back Throw, and Up B Spike from Scend.
That makes Jab, Forward Smash, Neutral Air, and Down B (plus all of the other throws) as the only moves he didn't kill with.
The Joker killed with:
2 Back Air
1 Forward Air
1 Forward Smash
1 Up Smash
1 Down Smash
1 Neutral B (The sequence this was a part of was one of, if not THE slickest Joker clip ever)
1 Side B
1 Dash Attack
Aegis had:
3 Back Air
2 Up air (With 1 MKLayup)
2 Jab
1 Down Air
1 Forward Air (The only Mythra kill)
All the Smash Documentary quotes lately are dope
Goat behavior, crazy how people doubt this guy
Watching after Genesis X where Leo got 25th to feel better about life...he may not be the best anymore but to me this tournament really proves that at one point in time, he truly was head and shoulders above everyone else
Mkleo can't lie, in his mind after won Kurama, he can't stop to scream in his heart "IIIII BEAT YOU"
Dude how tf do you get your spacing this good??? Seriously it's like he got autospacing like 70-80% of the time. But he takes it even further with pressure then capitalizes as soon as you make a mistake. He's a beast with spacing, pressure, and influence. That's why everyone he faces seems tense while he's just chill.
"MKLeo approaches you"
*Synthia theme song starts playing*
I’ll add one final comment. Yes, I’ve also been one to agree that Acola got MU checked here, but let’s not forget his other sets weren’t just 3-0 either (and he lost to Zomba), even though he’s playing the “broken” character.
Acola’s got a long way to go before I’ll start comparing him to Leo
This really cemented your legacy - best smash ultimate player of all time
I'll be honest, I was voting for Kurama through the whole tournament the moment he 3-0'd Gluto, but hype behind Leo almost having a perfect tournament was so surreal. Everyone else best take advantage of your absence while they can.
Doubters Malding 😂. This shit wasn’t even close, my god.
18:16 bro chill 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
*Sonix playing*
“Man ain’t nobody trying to see that”
To be fair, Acola was heavily matchup-checked, but even so I doubt Acola is on Leo’s level

All hail the king!
THE GOAT
Nairo pointed it out best: in game 3 vs Kurama, Leo, from the moment he gets back on stage at 3:43 (in game time, not video timestamp), doesn't shield for the rest of the match. CRAZY mentally to be at kill percent and NEVER SHIELD ONCE with a Mario back airing you AT LEDGE!! INSANEEEEE!!!! Who else is doing that?!
Hey MKleo, what’s your favorite part of byleth?
I would say that the king returned, but that would mean that he left his throne in the first place...
Great shit leo we knew what the vibes were next they better not doubt the king
The goat I knew u had that one but omg u played like crazy this major
invitational
Hey Leo fun fact: I've been using the tag "Requiem" (capital R) since 2020. Inspiration for it is its meaning for "Mass of the Dead" and also that "Requiem" by Verdi is one of my favorite symphonic pieces (I used to play the violin a lot). Now I have to explain to people that I've been using it well before you debuted with it, and not trying to copy haha. Also doesn't help Byleth is one of my mains. RIP will probably go by a different tag now lmao
Thought it was a jjba reference.
@@depthbomb94 yup for Leo it is!
You’re the goat Leo !!! Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
Lookin healthy asf Leo, I see that work💪😤😈 keep it up
This could also double as a Coney commentary highlights
The only reason I ever doubted that you would win if you went all out is because you hadn't played Acola before.
Those doubts have been squashed.
5:35 That 1st stock DAMN 😨
