Perhaps, but 'some blonde gave me nightmares, think that she's still in my bed' sounds to me more like the real thing rather than a metaphor, especially considering he's a rock star on the road. Perhaps its literal and metaphorical at the same time. At any rate, I imagine his wife wasn't loving the song.
