- A great alternative sighter pattern for the river and lochs alike, works well floats well and catches fish well.
Change the body colour, hackle colour and post colour to what suits your own eye-sight best.
Dressing: - Size12-8 Barbless Dry Fly Hook I Used Hends BL354
Thread: - Semperfli 12/0 Nano Silk I used Black
Body: - Deer Hair Spun and Trimmed to a Cigar shape
Wing: - 5/6 Quality CDC Plumes
Post: - Booby Eye, trimmed to shape 3mm or 5 mm
Hackle: - Cock Hackle 2/3 turns

Just subscribed and looking forward to trying this fly next week on the Waioeka River down under in NZ. Looks like an excellent floater in fast water so will be ideal. Regards!

Why barbless hook?
You can tie it on barbed if you wish, just the general norm nowadays is Barbless, but if you want a good hook thats Barbed use the Kamasan B405 great hook and thanks for watching
