Hi, just wanted to let you know I use to listen to your show while driving. My daughter was stuck listening to you on the regular. So happy to say she really listened to you. She’s extremely frugal and an aggressive saver. She graduated from university with zero debt. Took her a while but she did it. She has a great career now. She actually was able to purchase a home within six months of working full time in her new career. In California. Thank you.
Why did you buy a Tesla, we need to know, Im 80 yrs old and I bought a new 1993 Toyota small pickup, thats 30 yrs ago and I am still driving it , I do wish it was automatic Trans
Personally, I go by what Scott Kilmer says, not consumer reports! How many years of ownership does Consumer Reports surveys include (like 1.5, LOL!). BMW, are you kidding me!
I cant believe BMW made it to the top 3. My BMW has been nothing but trouble. It's a 2007 model but the gaskets were cheap and the vehicle literally started falling apart after the 48 month warranty expired. My wife drove the BMW to the dealership because it was smoking and as she was pulling into the dealership the car was on fire. Oil leak ignited on the exhaust pipe. The cost to repair is always over $1k. Always! I'll never own another BMW.
BMW is definitely not reliable! Ask any person that works on cars anywhere in the world, I guarantee they will laugh at this survey. Also I 100% agree about Amazon, I keep getting charged for Prime Membership every month but I am not a Prime member. It is a weird set of circumstances but they told me 3 months in a row now that the problem is fixed and it won't happen again, but it keeps happening every month. In the past I remember having a problem with one of my orders and I remember calling and they fixed it ASAP and the person spoke clear english and was very nice, now I am pretty sure the customer service people are contractors in India and not Amazon employees because they have no idea what they're doing.
Amazon Prime has definitely lost its magic. I ordered several DVDs and they mostly arrived in separate packages and took between 4 and 6 days to show up. The separate shipping was annoying because I had to keep watch for them on three different days. And the long delay was never explained, it seems that's just how long Amazon takes now.
I have been with amazon for at least a decade and I LOVE their customer service. I tell them all the time how much I love their customer service plus fast delivery and return policy. I just had to write and share my experience. My son and daughter who live in other states than me also love amazon prime. Now qvc I can say I do not like their customer service. That has been my experience with them. I make sure That I know I will love their product before ordering from them. Also I might add that the people at customer service are from India, but very nice.
Some of you in the comments are comparing brands and vehicles from 20 years ago. Quality is something that changes over time. It can improve and it can also degrade. I think that's how BMW made it so high on the list. Recent quality is very high, same with Mazda. It's also why Mercedes is way down on the bottom now. Either way, be open minded to the fact that some models of certain brands are junk while others are really good. Some brands consistently score better over many years but that doesn't mean every single model is a home run in terms of quality and reliability.
Electric cars aren’t even close. There’s no standardized plugs, charger’s or batteries. People are already paying $27,000 to change out their Tesla batteries.
Amazon has definitely gone downhill my wife and I rarely return anything. We are what I would consider great customers. Anyway I have noticed at least with lower cost items if you need to return them your options are either take it to a Whole Foods, or UPS store neither of which are convenient. Would easily be well over an hour trip for us to do, or we have to pay fee to return it a more convenient way that is not the norm. At least with walmart returns are easy and convenient. Amazon has changed and is not the same company anymore.
Mazda Really? I was just telling someone the other day that I had issues with Mazda over and over...from two 929 that ended up needing transmission to the Mazda Rx8 that of course had motor issues and motor just went kaput .Mazda new they had issues with that rotary motor from the get-go but sold it to the public anyway.
I'm not sure where this pay to play is an issue. Especially since Google does it all the time. Usually easy to spot the products that are being specifically supported in Google's world you just look for the word sponsored. In Amazon's world look for the number reviews and see what they say. Even travel websites do it.

Clark for President!

Toyota ☺👍
Clark has always been a fan of electric cars.
Toyota 👍
Best vehicle on the road! My 2011 Tacoma 200k with nothing but routine maintenance! I'll never sell or trade it!
Listened to Clark a long time ago and found him again today. Too much ok on debt, loans and CC’s to continue listening.
Honda always be at the top 5 🤗

Agreed!
I owned a BMW for over 9 years, I suffered financial chaos because of it...
Scotty knows vehicles!
Go Scotty!
Clark - You’re my consumer information HERO! ❤️🤩👏👏 THANK YOU & HAPPY NEW YEAR! 👍

Endless money pit
Woah! 😲 Glad your wife was ok.
Your problem is old BMW before they improved quality. 2007 is not relevant.
It’s not just what’s reliable it’s also the cost of repairs. You take your car into the shop and they give you a $6,000 bill.
Thank you Team Clark.
Pizza at the Kwiktrip in Wisconsin is still the same.
Ope
Yes, agree! Clark for President! No TRILLIONS of DOLLARS DEBT! MAKE AMERICA WEALTHY AGAIN!
I can’t understand suggesting taking out a loan for a car. Why go in debt? Buy what can be afforded with cash or save and buy later.

Amazon allows you to group your delivery. Have it sent to a locker and no worries about porch pirates.
How can BMW be the third roost reliable manufacturer. They constantly ranks at the top of cost of repair. That does not relate to being reliable.

That was a very supportive hour
Yes. All those Walmart shoppers for pickup clog up the isle, are very rude and won’t move out of the way when asked.
I have a 2008 Honda Civic with 112,000 and I’m going to drive into the ground
Back before the dreaded CVT, you'll get 500k miles if you want to drive it that long! CVT's are the weak link on newer ones.

Would make more sense to wait till more people default on their car loans and the market becomes flooded with used cars.😊

🤣
Tesla batteries have a 100,000 mile warranty. Nobody keeps a car that long any more. It's not 1955

2013 and newer made in Japan are very reliable. Older ones not as much.
Krista drives a tesla..so cool.😊
Consumer Reports are hardly car experts...bunch of yuppies.
Getting your stats from JD Power is pretty careless. Clark stinks!
