Pulling off a tree branch with a Trewhella Monkey Winch!

This is a Trewhella Monkey Winch. These have been made for over 100 years and are still in production today. They are used to clear wooded areas and can easily pull fully grown trees down. In this video I use mine for the first time to begin clearing up a huge Oak tree limb that blew down during a storm.

You need a double purchase pull, alot more power and much easier to use.

+Bug Bomb LOL, you’re absolutely right, but the branch was under tension below the massive limb and I thought that the limb could roll if I removed it. As it was, it never affected the limb. Did you look at the second video when I pulled the limb down off the tree? I had to buy some 20 tonne strops for that bit.

Doing it wrong mate, lay it on it's side then swing the handle, much easier. I have one with all the attachments that you not seem to have, even your handle is wrong, should have a large hoop so two men can swing off it.
