@@thewintersaint so really it's more of a question about how good control paladin will be, post rotation, and if running the combo won't automatically lose you the game due to the tempo loss, lack of other win condition or being slower than other combo decks.
@@sacwingedbatsatadbitsad4346 yeah but its not explicitly stated, and like he said the more similar card, shadow visions, does work as though doubles don't matter.
I happen to have played a lot of augmented elekk + scroll of wonder odd mage and I do feel like it counts additional copies because whenever I shuffle deck of wonders, I hit scroll almost every time
4:40 - how do these guys not know?? In case anyone's wondering, Shadow Visions is different from Dragon's Fury because it uses the Discover mechanic, which never gives you duplicate options. To use the example in the video, if you Dragon's Fury when there are 2 Flamestrikes and 1 Dragon's Fury in the deck you will have a 67% chance of dealing 7 damage and 33% to deal 5. So to answer their question, yes it absolutely matters how many multiples of each spell are in the deck (Spiteful Summoner worked exactly the same way)
They were saying that the number of shadow visions options didn't matter not because you can't discover multiple but referring to the weight of pulling a card as 1 of the 3 options. Saying that if you had 2 copies of divine spirit and 1 of inner fire, among say 5 other spells, you have equal chance of getting divine spirit as inner fire.
They don't know because Blizzard literally never actually tells anyone what the cards actually do, duh. You can't exactly blame people for not knowing obscure fringes cases in the rules of a game that have never been officially explained.
Best discussion I can find on the internet on Shadow Visions odds suggests they're just straight up wrong about it, assuming that the number of copies doesn't matter: us.battle.net/forums/en/hearthstone/topic/20757285570

Hadronox only summons minions with the taunt keyword, buffs dont count. Even something like tolvir stoneshaper wont be rez'd because its taunt comes from a self buff, not from the keyword itself.
22:52 The play is to just Hooktusk the 6/6, right? There are no pirates left in the deck so it clears the board without putting you into fatigue for no reason, seems like they just completely forgot she was even in the hand at that point. Maybe they all forgot she only draws pirates?
@@TheSquareOnes hahaha it's all good, she's pretty fringe so it's not like forgetting a keyword is that big a deal. it could be worse, you could think powershot is still in standard like pathra and firebat did
I like the style of this deck.
That was a very well-chosen video. An interesting game worth watching from start to end.
I wonder how good the deck will be post rotation. It's losing some strong cards(protector, steed and cta), but it might still work somehow.
The Core combo IS still intact.so there IS that

Firebat playing Hakkar Paladin is one of the last pure things left in this world.
this aged well
I'm worried. Did Purple need to change his undergarments at the sight of Edwin?
4:40 thats actually a super interesting question. I always just assumed numbers mattered and I had super bad luck.
I've operated on that assumption since that card was released. This is big if true.
I'm 99% sure it does matter. Like resurrect effects where you get different things, the number of copies in the dead pool still matter.

Shadow Visions works that way because it is an inherent attribute of Discover. It's the Discover effect that makes duplicates not appear.

We gotta play around the *draws Edwin* OHHHHHHHH
I'm almost 5 min and realized this video is too long for my lunch break but I've enjoyed it so far and will look forward to it for the next few hours!

This is the funniest game of hearthstone I have ever watched.
The “under pressure” edit at 4:00 caught me totally off guard and got a proper belly laugh, lifting me out of my stormy mood. 10/10
For no apparent reason, the algorithm recommended me this video in August of 2024, and no title has ever made me feel older.
It's just a good deck.
Best spicy pepper thumbnail placement yet
We have to bait out two polymorphs. Firebat it's odd.
I'd like to see someone try and make this work in Wild once most of the more powerful cards rotate.
Too slow for wild I'm afraid
I'll respectfully watch the video before commenting

Is there a list for this? I love the feel of it.
You saw the entire deck, dude
where can i find this exact list? not trying to figure it out by counting them while watching the gameplay

If he had 2 importal prelates, wouldn't have call to arms summoned 3 minions?

A Tier 1 Deck
or
One O W L B O Y

my nose started bleeding while watching this. Is it because of Firebat or is it because of ed? I can´t tell
Firebat, Can I have your updated list please? Prelate is god.

Deck code?
Owl secret mvp
Purple was so salty about his deck lol
can you taunt a hadronox so when he dies he resomms hisself? does it works?
No it only summons minions that has taunt on the base card, not if a minion is granted taunt.
guys hadro had zilliax and you could have hadro for it and steeded for a huge stabilization
Two righteous alot of stegs and sunkeeper meant it wasnt guaranteed and second blaze caller would've sucked
Anybody got that deck code? Looking for fun stuff to do before rotation/new set
try Wild :-)
