He had hair back then and his LOVE for the game just shined out of him. Now I'm 6'4" which usually means in rec center ball that I would be playing something like a center or forward. But Chauncey was about my height too so I had to guard him. Well you can imagine how that went. He had fun. I just wanted to make sure he didn't get hurt by one of us flubs before he headed off to the NBA. Congrats Chauncey! NBA HOF very well deserved!
