Boiling milk in an open pot, conducting Homa, Vastu purush puja, hanging the mango leaves torana in a door way, drawing Rangoli, Sathyanarayana Swamy puja, cow worship, charity, feeding the guests, worshiping cereals and many more rituals are followed during Griha Pravesh or house warming ceremony.
In this video, the popular Inventor and craft skills expert Mamatha N Swamy shows the very simple way to arrange cereals in the Kitchen during puja of a newly constructed home. It is believed that worshiping cereals and food ingredients ensures that inmates never goes hungry.

Many north Indians especially Maharastea, ÙP N MP they do this kulad pooja for Deepavali, min. is 5 and max is 21. They way u have painted small pots same way they use to paint it.
