Like the Suns Jazz and Knicks timelines, the Grizzles turned everything around. They went from rebuilding after the Grit and Grind era to getting back to the playoffs. They didn't have a great playoff run (because they made it all the way to the 2nd round of the playoffs by Golden State), but they will be better next season.
Morant is already like Carmelo and Irving: individually very good, but the team is always worse when he plays. Just see the stats of this season: Grizzles when Morant played: 41-25 Grizzles when Morant did not play: 21-7

steve sets such good screens and handoffs for bane on those catch and shoot 3s jonas is def great but his low post offense denies ja forming driving to the rim and he needs the ball to create offense which adams doesn’t the grizz also got williams and a future pick so i think the trade was solid
with these guys on the lineup and probably a few adjustments I would say nba finals is a huge possibility, but they have to make sure the warriors wont a spoil that dream since they are still a team to beat with a healthy wiggins and curry and the rest of the group, the warriors is a veteran team who knows how to win a chip. 47th, let's pick Kai Sotto. We need a big back up Center for JJJ. Kai brings lob dunks opportunity for Ja so that Ja does not injure himself doing too much banging when he drives. A lob by Ja to Kai could be a staple in 2 years.
Is true Ja Morant is a great player but his playing style is gonna make his nba career short. He has to find a style were he is effective without making those flashy moves. But I could be wrong but the way he plays I don't think so. He also needs to improve his defense you could tell after he was injured Memphis played a lot better against GSW.
