12:27, that's why you make it a priority to walk the track....and or experiment during practice and never, initially, at full tilt...lesson for all you amateur racers and track day folks....( but yes everyone makes mistakes) I glad he was uninjured and they got the big sorted out...The PJ vs Scholtz fight is freakin fantastic this season...
Why push it in practice and crash there and possibly not make it to the race? I've been racing as an expert now for 6 years and no one pushes it during practice. The race is everything.
Qualifying is where crashes can happen. Lack of familiarity with the track, track conditions (cold surface, wind, etc) can affect it, tire compound choices factor into it.
@@JNOSNOW apples and oranges my friend. Amateurs have a limited budget and usually have to go to work on Monday morning. not so for the pros...massive budgets their medical bills get paid and can lay in bed for two weeks until the next round...
@@raynic1173 yeah I know I'm up fairly close to the front racer and your logic. I've never crashed at a track day in 8 years and only a handful of lowsides in the races. Your logic doesnt make sense with that
You would figure that at least for the name introductions, Moto-America would put the type of Bike they are riding...Cause any of these Guys, can stand next to you on line in Dunkin-Donuts, and you wouldn't know or care who the Fuck they are, And frankly, that correct, who cares who these nobody's are, the main point of interest is the type of Bike that's being used.
