A tip working with toddlers and children. I always make sure that when sims are toddlers, to have their parents read to them as much as they can so that when they age up, that aspiration milestone for reading with an adult for two hours is completed. Also for me personally, I hate having to do all the different interactions for toddlers to get their skills up, so I just give them the toddler tablet and their skill goes up significantly. All except the potty skill

Having both kids and pets seems to mean we signed away our privacy for many, many years! My kids are now adults and the one with his own kiddos live 3000 miles away, but I’ve still got dogs! Said dogs were following me in a little parade the other day as I went towards the bathroom. A friend was over and headed down the same hall (different destination obviously lol) when I casually said “c’mon guys, I’ve got to use the bathroom and we all know I can’t do that alone” knowing full well they had already divined this truth. My poor animal-less friend belly laughed. I’m guessing he snickered in a smug way later in the day when he used the restroom in his own house without an audience. 😂
Since you put the gym in the garage add-on maybe you could make the basement a playroom/skill building area for the kids P.S james you are absolutely spoiling us with content rn and I'm so grateful
I think it would be cool to have Breanne do the social butterfly aspiration. A bit of a redemption for her socially awkward dad plus it would be a good excuse to stay in touch with all the other local kids.
Maybe Addi can ho into the law enforcement career. His interest in science could lead him into forensic science as a crime sceen investigator. Then you could play with your updated police station too.
Make sure to check Brianne's reward traits when you age her up because she maxed her skills as a toddler. My sim got two and then i did two aspirations so now she has all four rewards (social, mental, motor, creativity), and she builds all adult skills faster. Pretty useful I must say ☺️
Low key want some drama of Kevin accidentally thinking Rhys is Reginald and flirts with him and try’s to get the spark back in their romance but doesn’t know it’s him until Reginald sees them. Start a love triangle!
I always put a coffee table in my toddler rooms so they default to putting plates, cups, tablets, toys, etc down there. Shelves also work. Toddlers and plates are something else... 😆
James! If I recall correctly, disciplining your child is not just when they do something bad but also includes when you praise them for doing something good :)
When you're rewatching the rags to riches get to work from 7 years ago and notice back then doors didn't lock and now doors lock but it chooses to let some intruders in =D
It's funny cause by the time we get infants, we might already be playing with Addy's household making it the first gen with infants gameplay. And it's nice continuity for him to inherit the generational gameplay when his dad was the first high school years generation.
I got an idea for Addisons sneak-out window. Build a regular balcony with a door leading out on it but lock that door for his dads only, they thinking that he can't possibly sneak out now! The catch is, Addisons bedroom window also leads out over the balcony. ;-)
Not that it really matters now since she’s maxed, but if you pause and queue “watch” up, you can do like 7 or 8 at a time and she’ll just follow them around watching them as they do whatever they’re doing.
He doesn't need the biofuel for the toilet. He needs to feed the compost in the toilet to the grubs. The biofuel is worthless unless you get a generator to use the fuel. Since this isn't an off-the-grid play or eco lifestyle playthrough, it's fine to sell the fuel.
I think it would be interesting, if James played as Rhys from time to time and maybe do some interactions with sims from warewolfs pack as he was often guest in that series.
So biofuel can be used to power generators without causing pollution (your eco footprint), so you could put a power generator on your lot if you want to help with bills & all that. But with the toilet, every now and then you'll have the option “compost in insect farm” when you click on the toilet and when that happens it the sim will take it to the bug farm and that's how you prevent the toilet fires :)
You could install UI extension cheats so that you can just right click to get rid of the fears whenever they pop up. I feel like that'd be faster than just turning them on and off again. And that way you can keep the wants
I think the toddlers traits also impact how they react to food. Independent is just OP in that sense, they just get on with it like a full grown sim 😭🤣

But with the toilet, every now and then you'll have the option “compost in insect farm” when you click on the toilet and when that happens it the sim will take it to the bug farm and that's how you prevent the toilet fires :)
The toddler slide is amazing for increasing the movement skill.
Reginald: Alright beat it Hillary. You dont have to go home- and I dont blame you its horrendously tacky- but you cant stay here.
You could install UI extension cheats so that you can just right click to get rid of the fears whenever they pop up. I feel like that'd be faster than just turning them on and off again. And that way you can keep the wants

I can't wait to see what the kids look like when you age them up!!!
Yesss I'm loving the daily uploads of this series 🤗

Another video already! LET'S GOOOO! 💚 I've missed ya James, so glad You're on a roll right now.
That was great James! Thank you for your amazing Gameplay!

Before you move them out, you should have a paranormal investigator over to try to "cleanse" the house of the weird ju-ju and the like.
Isn’t Brody a Paranormal Investigator?
