My suggestion is that pops of color are needed. Not fluorescent -- but subtle & complimentary. I like the bowl (not alone) you definitely need to add a runner.
Well, I'm excited for your beginning!!! I like the rustic look. However, I would like to see a little color with the rustic ( burnt orange, yellow, purple, hunter green, smokey violet. Sometimes its good to put a little shiney things in the mix. Over the toilet, you can put a morecambe, Avery space saver, rustic picture with words that pertain to the bathroom, ladder space saver with baskets, I'm excited to see the finishing. I feel that your house/home should tell about the things you like, what you believe, you culturally, and the activities you participate in. It should say YOU. Hi there guys, the furnishings are great! Your personality should come out in the accessories. Since your palette is pastel, you can introduce colour in your pillows and rugs. Your are correct Lexie, the rug is too small. You can also introduce textures in your accessories; for example, wood and copper pieces. It is the best bang for your buck, and is easily switched out when you get tired of it. ( Place in another room.) Good luck and enjoy!👌🏾 Off to a good start!

As for the dining table - cute, but I wonder how you are going to get outside if you have a cook out. I also agree with your hubby that its needs a runner and then add a smaller bowl or vase for fresh flowers, or add a philodendron plant (they love the sun). Please consider adding floor length drapes to the great room and more importantly in the bedrooms. One, for privacy, and two, to keep out the cold during the winter months. Your master bath watering closet would look really nice with two floating shelves. Lastly, downtown Detroit has some beautiful buildings, including the Ambassador Bridge. You could pick out some some three dimensional art work of the city at the Detroit Art Institute , or commission some art done in charcoal pencil. And as Christians, be sure to have the home blessed three times, and add some favorite bible quotes in the bathrooms, offices, and the hallway. "God is the head of this household. Amen." I digress! Your home is coming along very well don't rush because it took us a year and a few months to really get everything together when we bought our first home. I love the decorations I also love the settings and the furniture especially your office the kitchen is nice as well and you're right you do need a runner on the table with the little flowers don't overdo it and some little candles not too small and not too large and that way you can change up with the seasons that's how I do for my dining room table and our kitchen table :-) everything looks lovely to me thank you ever so kindly for sharing this with all of us God bless you👍💞🙏

Beautiful elegant home. I’d place the dining table bench on the other side not by the door. A runner with that bowl would be perfect. Office furniture placement I think the two chairs with ottoman are too bulky for the space but nice furniture choices and colours. Try the chairs straight not angled and move the ottoman away from the chairs close to the desk. I wouldn’t change anything else in your great room and kitchen. Perhaps add some colour 😉. Your bedroom and bathroom and closet are perfect 👌🏾.
Yea I kind of agree about the office chairs but we wanted that to be a really relaxing room for us to read by the fire and I love having ottomans when I read/relax so we’re willing to give up a little space for them. Great ideas! We did get the runner for the table already.

Choosing one color and strategically sprinkling it throughout your home will give a very cohesive look without it being too overwhelmingly colorful. I love the concept 9f the entire house but it could use some pops of colors. The couch you may need to consider esp for baby. As for the dining area keep the bowl and get a runner. The plants add some texture and character to the house. Beautiful 🏡

Beautiful home! Consider getting a different vent hood/range hood. The current one is too narrow. There is a lot of white space there. A square wood hood would give you that rustic look while taking up some of that additional space.
Hi guys. Just came across your channel and love your message and wish you the best. The house looks great. BUT... TV is too high so when you are watching be prepared for pains to start in your neck. If your fp is gas you may be able to lower the TV. -You have a very tone on tone look that you seem to be going for but put in pops of colors. The lamps flanking the fp could maybe be a lighter metal or clear glass and be taller to compensate for the fire place wall. -While waiting for the bathroom doors, put up a baby gate and toilet lid clips on all toilets and keep all bathroom doors shut. If Aza is moving about she is top heavy and you want to prevent her curiosity from having her pitch forward in to anything holding water. Not trying to scare you but my mom is a retired doctor and 2 or 3 times in her career she came home with sad stories of preventable accidents. -I see you seem to have a Saarinen side table. I have one as well. again, it can tip over and pin a little body so maybe not the best choice for a baby/toddler. Maybe move it to one of your offices. Other than that, the place looks great and your family is lovely and I can't wait to see how life goes. All the best.

I think you all can find better pictures too that will fit better with the rustic vibe you all are going for. maybe you can take one of the chairs out of the office and put in your bedroom. you can put somethin else there to showcase family picture decorative things etc. Hobby Lobby and Kirklands have nice home decor . such a beautiful home you all have!

I love the concept 9f the entire house but it could use some pops of colors. The couch you may need to consider esp for baby. As for the dining area keep the bowl and get a runner. The plants add some texture and character to the house. Beautiful 🏡
I like the decor, but I love a splash of colour. Maybe some pastel or bright, depending on your preference. If you are into neutrals, then the decor is perfect.
Needs some pop. Maybe they should get another interior decorator. Just saying.

Beautiful home! Consider getting a different vent hood/range hood. The current one is too narrow. There is a lot of white space there. A square wood hood would give you that rustic look while taking up some of that additional space.
Hi guys. Just came across your channel and love your message and wish you the best. The house looks great. BUT...
TV is too high so when you are watching be prepared for pains to start in your neck. If your fp is gas you may be able to lower the TV.
-You have a very tone on tone look that you seem to be going for but put in pops of colors. The lamps flanking the fp could maybe be a lighter metal or clear glass and be taller to compensate for the fire place wall.
-While waiting for the bathroom doors, put up a baby gate and toilet lid clips on all toilets and keep all bathroom doors shut. If Aza is moving about she is top heavy and you want to prevent her curiosity from having her pitch forward in to anything holding water. Not trying to scare you but my mom is a retired doctor and 2 or 3 times in her career she came home with sad stories of preventable accidents.
-I see you seem to have a Saarinen side table. I have one as well. again, it can tip over and pin a little body so maybe not the best choice for a baby/toddler. Maybe move it to one of your offices.

Nice furniture, maybe somewhat a warmer color rug and pillow to bring some contrast? Color of pillows are or seems too muted against the white furniture! I feel you about the artwork on top of the toilet, maybe it will fit in the foyer or the hallways?
