I've seen so many content creators plan to go through the entire series after experiencing y0, but then drop the series like a lead balloon after kiwami. Imo ppl need to get a baseline of quality and a general feel of the series by playing kiwami first, then when you go back to the peak that is y0 the experience is even further enhanced by your knowledge from kiwami. Otherwise Kiwami is just gonna serve as a chokepoint story wise if you go chronologically and many ppl won't be able to handle the whiplash in quality.
Playing through 3,4,and 5 is the gauntlet that separates the wheat from the chaff in the Yakuza series. Your reward is 6, Gaiden, Like a Dragon, and Infinite Wealth.
Now I'm curious to see how she'll react to characters like Tanimura, Akiyama, Shinada, Ichiban and Saejima. Maybe Yagami too, if she decides to play the Judgement series. And I especially look forward to seeing her playing the pre-Kiwami engine era games (3 & 4).
Bae being able to speak Japanese really helped with the karaoke. That being said, I hope she either does the Majima Saga before the main game finale or she doesn't read the end credits for the main story.
