Im an experienced bike rider but pretty new to mountain biking. Would you recommend big creek for someone that doesn't have a ton of trail experience? Sweet video btw.

Thanks and thanks for watching dude!
The right trail to learn on it’s kind of a tough question. If you’re looking to just change things up from riding on the road but you’re working on cardio and things like that then a really technical trails probably not the right way to go. If you’re looking at it from the perspective of just having fun and challenging yourself (that’s what I’m all about) then technical trails are going to be the right way to go.
As to this trail, it’s sort of depends on how you answer the question above and how close you live to a trail. I live in the Midwest, I love Rocky Rudy technical trails with sustained descendants. I have to drive 45 minutes to get to anything remotely close to that. And realistically I need to drive at least eight hours. For me it’s worth the drive to go to a place like this. For you it’s gonna depend on what you’re trying to get out of the experience.
Also if you need a mountain biking and coming from road biking, which is what I think you are doing. I would recommend watching some technical writing videos. Stuff about body stance and position. If you’re coming from road biking, you’re gonna find yourself always wanting to put your weight forward. In mountain biking you have to do the exact opposite, you put all your weight as far back as possible whenever you’re experiencing a technical part of the trail. Do you want the front tire free to roll over obstacles, not get stuck and cause you to fly over the handlebars.
Hope that’s not too much. Again thanks for watching.
