I fought both against each other, they are actually even ngl, the Dragstrider cost isn’t as bad as people say it is legitimately, at most I am not able to discard the Luard from hand for full effect, the stride decks on their own is pretty even in my opinion XD
Shiranui and Luard are mighty popular decks cardfighter use in tournaments. I went to my usual vanguard shop during Deepavali holiday, and its happened that there was a small tournament being held there. There were a lot of the participants using shiranui and luards but in the end my friend won the tournament using his my go deck. Personally i choose Luard because dragon Sorceror just sound cool, feels like natsu dragneel from fairy tail
This 2 decks are so crazy. And Messiah. I am waiting Luard, Sharhalot, Shiranui, Nightrose or some new granblue deck, maybe Amon, link joker star vader. 2 of them already exists, great 👍
I do want to hear your thoughts after a few weeks on Shiranui builds and matchups. I feel Shiranui existing makes the overall Vanguard tournament meta so much more interesting. It is clearly weak against certain decks, but at the same time by changing list it may actually overcome the weaker matchup at the cost of losing consistency or high roll potential.
I loved both back in the tail end of G era, but when Nubatama got really good and was less expensive than Luard, it became my go to and favorite deck until Bushi decided to put an end to it. Now I'm maybe almost considering picking the Nubatama deckset when it comes to the US to play it in Premium again. Almost.
Im team Shiranui but i actually think Luard putting back crits makes Dragstrider an insane finisher. I also think Luard will get way more cards in the future since its kind of like Chronojet where any G1 might be Luard support.
I think so too! With shiranui almost having a tight deck with a perfect decklist already, the potential for more future supports for luard is more likely to happen.
After playing at WGP on their release weekend, I can say, while Shiranui on paper looks miles beyond, don’t sleep on Luard! Their power level may not be the same, but both are solid decks for beginners and competitors alike out of the box. Blademaster stride deck set when come on Bushiroad
Hello DifferentFight I have a Question : Can I preorder The Decks From a website I live in a country With only 0-1 Card shops per city If I Can Then From Where
Now for upgrading shiranui, do you drop draws or fronts, when you get to mukuro turn you will be drive checking for each attack against a rearguard i think fronts are better in that case but what do you think?
8:10 this is my NOOB OPINION: I feel like it be better to replace saram clouts for painkiller(since unless you're going second with first stride, you will usually stride with luards skill, maybe leave 1-2 sarams...) and maybe replace 1 copy of either luminosity or preservation for maple. Maple would be liafail but free and painkiller would let you aggro and draw early, on G2 turn you can have 3 attack, set up ritual 3(knies and both painkillers), draw and during the luard ride, soul blast and draw one more...
@arkanamaster4961 that is true. Keeping it can be good for power. I just think it would be better to have 2 copies at most, for the first stride/not enough for ritual/when ritual would be lowered too much because of luards skill. And for power since you can just send 1-2 Sarams to the deck with luards ritual. Having 4 is largely unnecessary IM(noob)O
I can't believe more people aren't thinking like this. Painkiller should be a 4 of. G1 for ritual and early draw to survive early turns and Saram will be big and a call off Morfessa for later pressure.
I got the Luard Stride Deckset because I really love the deck's aesthetic of wizards and dragons. I didn't get to play Luard both in G and V because the price for each cards were way too expensive for my budget so I'm really happy that I finally get to play Luard in Standard. I hope Bushi will release more Ritual units since this new Luard besides focusing on grade 1 it also focus on Ritual ability more than its predecessor in G and V like Morfessa, Dragdriver, and Dragstrider. Besides that I also think that Bushi should also release G Guardian for every Stride Deckset, as this will help all Stride decks achieve 2 or more face up card in the G Zone faster even on the first stride turn as long as the fighter has a Heal Trigger on their hand to call G Guardian and with the condition that G Guardian can only being used in Stride decks with crest only.
If you have enough cards in drop for ritual then yes, SB Liafail is a good option to set up a guaranteed stride bonus from luard, however if the situation calls for it, soul blast knies to set up ritual...and maybe add painkiller to soul blast liafail later...
@@arkanamaster4961 I mean 1st stride and if fight with shiranui you won’t ride first so you won’t get the free stride. Remember putting crit back you have to use free stride skill
As someone who plays Luard in the V Premium and Premium formats, I can honestly say that the standard stride deck set isn't really worth the investment. The fact that several key units such as Dragdriver, Luard and Dragwizard, Morfessa can only superior call units with the Ritual ability really limits the deck's capabilities. Then there's the issue of Dragstrider, Luard. In addition to having to meet the GB 2 and Ritual 7 conditions, it also requires at least 5 units on the field with the Ritual ability just to pay an additional cost to use his effect. That's especially problematic since there aren't many cards in the D series that can superior call units from the deck to make meeting these conditions easier. After testing the D series cards a handful of times (using different builds), I can pretty much confirm that the deck appears to be barely functional, at best.

Thanks for making this kind of videos~
Since I'm a fan of ninjas, I'd definitely get that Shiranui premium deckset.

Blademaster stride deck set when come on Bushiroad
If more of these are coming and then i think more of Altmile and Asha tbh
Thanks for the vid Kris, I have some friends interested in starting the game and I can confidently recommend them these decks and your vid
I plan to buy both, but will likely play _A LOT_ of Luard
Excited to buy these when english arrives
I was gonna get both but after Mukuro was revealed Shiranui won me over. So I'm getting the premium Deckset.
Hello DifferentFight I have a Question :

i am getting Luard because i will all ways be a Shadow Paladin first and always

Can you also tell your opinion about the value of each card to put them into Premium deck?
Also i wonder if playing valnout as the ot would be better, i know the dragon empire lets you restand the vanguard but what are your thoughts sir?
I hope we get a blademaster stride deck set
If I could find it I definitely buy the Messiah stride deck set
TCGplayer has it for like 40 bucks
I need luards in English now
Sekiei restand always, not only under GB2. The draw and the plus 10K are soft GB2
Im doing a collection of these things so im gonna try and get them all

Saram clouts is really nice as a 23k+ swinger that you can call off of morfessa

You are CRANKING out the content ❤️ are you McDonald’s? Because I’m loving it 😂

Wouldn't you be soul blasting Liafall himself for his skill that way you set up his self call skill? I'm more confused than anything.
Yeah that is the ideal thing to do

After english release
Luard > shiranui for competitiveness
Order minerva + teitfalt goes HARD on luard
I'll go with ptsd dominate.
Puting crit back mean nothing to me cause game usually end first
Your game ends on the first turn?!?!?! I thought we were playing vanguard not yugioh
@@arkanamaster4961 I mean 1st stride and if fight with shiranui you won’t ride first so you won’t get the free stride. Remember putting crit back you have to use free stride skill

im going for both cuz the stride decksets and the cards are too op to decimate my opponents even any pro or champion players
Excited to buy these when english arrives
