Im just glad to see someone run it how its supposed to be run....in dirt on one to two foot high jumps, mud and burms and just having a good rip!!! Everyone doesn't have to send it to the moon then bitch about the parachuting body....I must say it looks like a lot of fun ripping around 💯

Thanks for the video! I always find it interesting how other-brand fanboys call everything else "junk" when nothing broke and the product performs as intended. Is it perfect out of the box? Nope, but what is? Tuning and modding are part of the hobby, so dismissing something as "junk" just because it's not a brand someone likes makes them, not the product, look bad/biased. I have Traxxas and Horizon products; TRX4 built from a kit with some mods and a Baja Rey 2.0 w/ the F100 body. The BR2 is a blast but it's no basher, after a day of playing with it but not bashing the body had numerous cracks. After an unfortunate landing a different day the front bumper mounts broke leaving the front clip being fully supported by the cage. Replacement bumper mounts for the F100 are on backorder until MAY. I've had a replacement body on order since NOVEMBER and still have no idea when it'll actually arrive. I've also done a number of mods to the BR2 which have helped stability a lot. I'll also say that the Spektrum electronics are generally at least a level above Traxxas and the Spektrum chargers are 10x better than what Traxxas offers, so they all have their strong points. The reasons I'm going to pick up a Maxx Slash over a Mojave 6s are a) Horizon needs to get their act together with their inventory, it sucks having a paper weight due to massive backorders for basic parts and b) the Mojave 6s has been around for a number of years now, I have no desire to spend that kind of money on a truck that could very well have a 2.0 or new version on the...er...horizon in the near future. On the flip side, it's aged well and due to being around for a while there are some good mods available. I just can't bring myself to spend $600+ on an "old" product.
My TRX4 hasn't given me any issues, but it's a crawler and not subjected to the hard hits SCTs and such are.
The Mojave 4s is also a solid truck, but my friend has 2 of them (One for him, one for his son) and I want something different. Plus, I'd still be subjected to Horizon's potential parts/inventory issues and I have no interest in giving them any more of my money until they get their act together.

I don't know about this one. Seems to be spending more time rolling around than actually driving and flying. I've never had a 4wd slash, so not sure if this is typical of SCTs?
The only benefit I could see with two 3s packs over a single 6s pack is you have less current going to each connector, so maybe not as likely to heat up.
I noticed the truck doesn't jump very good at all It seems like it's very nose heavy That's probably due to the body With a different body it would probably respond better In the air

Nice truck but i could never get into the Traxxas planet. Never liked their electronics and way over priced in my opinion. I'm more into the Arrma products, for some reason their plastics seem more durable than Traxxas.

One of my biggest annoyances in this hobby other than the crazy fanboy-ism is when people buy an RC car and try to use it in a way that is completely opposite to how it was designed. Then complain when it breaks, or doesn't meet expectations.

Hey I got a question for you guys how much does the Mojave 4s cost out the door with a good 4S battery and a cheap charger I'm new to the hobby and I like the Mojave 4s I like to go off-road on road I'm not too much into the bashing I'm trying to figure which one do you think is better for off-road on road the Mojave forest or the arrma outcast 4S

The biggest thing with two separate packs is you really should keep those two packs together forever so they always charge and discharge the same. At least that's what I've always been told by some guys smarter than me. 😂 Personally I like 6s packs for 6s rigs but I do use two 3s packs sometimes in my 6s rigs. 4s packs for 4s rigs though. You don't see many people using two 2s packs on 4s rigs. 👊👊👍👍
And that's where it's tough when you deal with 8S for exactly what you just said packs kind of need to be dedicated but who does that I know I don't 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

I’ve heard that before but really, I don’t think it’s that big of an issue. Besides, batteries have gotten better, and cheaper. I used to run packs together but they never discharge exactly the same. Close but not perfect. Then recharging is like, what difference does it make? You charge them and they take the charge.
I stopped caring when one pack would go south on me. Packs will die eventually, no matter what.
