" hey, sir I think you found a back door". That's basically what this is
If you unlock oem u break the electronic seal for the warranty, get factory reset
Also it's standard practice for technicians to ask customers to boot up to check for this type tampering...so now you can't go there either
If you want to root it is best to do to an old phone you don't care about losing
Or really, really know what you are doing.
So people, please understand what rooting is and what can go wrong before attempting b' cuz it's hard to get help after the fact
I can't help you guys here. I'm just learning basics but will probably never do this

@@arturoperales3758 sadly I couldn’t get it to work. You have to get some type of code from the provider of the phone to unlock the boot loader which is possible I just didn’t put the time in

@@PapaClay115 Maybe it's factory/provider locked. Try removing your SIM Card and trying again

Mine doesn't either. If it helps this us just a backdoor. I think it better to do front end stuff.
      It's more respectable
And you can take it to technician if you do front end stuff. Not so much with this

If you unlock oem and then root the phone you could remove anything on the phone. Thing is beyond unlocking the bootloader is still a mystery
I don't know how root is done...
But you can reply if you want. I answer
