there was a bug with artifacts being charter bound. Because they have it charter bound they made it so you cannot drop it or transfer it to other inventories. Of course sense it had the "bound" tag what that does is no matter what when you die or fast travel there bound items would stay to you. To my knowledge this bug is fixed, artifacts still are bound to players. But you won't respawn with them anymore. The reason there is bound items at all is to make sure whenever someone buys a premium item like a collar they don't lose it on death.

there was a bug with artifacts being charter bound. Because they have it charter bound they made it so you cannot drop it or transfer it to other inventories. Of course sense it had the "bound" tag what that does is no matter what when you die or fast travel there bound items would stay to you. To my knowledge this bug is fixed, artifacts still are bound to players. But you won't respawn with them anymore. The reason there is bound items at all is to make sure whenever someone buys a premium item like a collar they don't lose it on death.
