Ya know the expression "Find a diamond in the rough" I think that shouldn't be used here. Because SWARM is beyond diamonds. It's something far more amazing and spectacular.
When i had the demo for Pro Tracks that come with the petal a friend and I bought thats what i discovered. It took emotion. Through the entire process. Each time i went into our little sound room we built it was imperative that i find that feeling again. Especially when singing. Tears, anger or peace. I wanted to be sure you felt it first. Long intros before vocals seemed to be my go to. Of course life took over I have yet to record and master the album i have in mind. Your sound is grazing the sounds in my head for that album that i hopefully record one day. Thank you again for the awesomeness that is SWARM!!❤️
This song has been in my head for about 4 days now, popping up when I'm thinking about bettering myself and changing friend groups. Just last night I had someone tell me "what you need right now is new. not old feelings, not old memories, but new. New experiences, new emotions." Then I showed him this song. It's strangely an extremely inspiring reminder to keep moving in life when the past is coming up from the ground and grabbing your legs.
Swarm just keeps getting better and better. He deserves so much more attention and recognition. I personally have depression and a lot his music means more than just music to me. Long time fan as well.
I feel you on that front, his music resonates with me a feeling of longing for something more from myself and from the world, echoing through the empty walls in my mind.
I discovered Swarm this week but I wasn't new to heavy dubstep and in my opinion Swarm is on the Maximum side of Dubstep making skill... I don't even separate the drops from the verses cz Swarm smooths them out very well.
Exquisite. I love the juxtaposition of her voice careening in light and sweetly clear, against your grimy aggressively syncopated orchestra of darkness. I just love your work. Always.. ❤️
There are great songs, heavy songs, banger songs, beautiful songs. But to create an aura like this... almost impossible. I only know one other song that does it: Mechina - The Horizon Effect
