For the first 3 Points, its a little more complicated then you put it 😅 Of course, nothing is free. Not education, nor healthcare, street maintainance or the Deutschlandticket or the ÖPNV in general 😑 Everyone who is paying taxes and social security fees is paying for those things... Schools and Universitys, roads, the healthcare system, social benefits like Kindergeld and many more things. Every single ÖPNV- Company (VRR for Düsseldorf, EVAG in Erfurt) is not making money but have to be subsidezed. 300€/Semester from each student dont pay for tearchers, infrastructure, ... 😉 As long as "YOU" (everyone) gets a good job and pays their taxes, the system works. But right now we are struggeling because the social sector is spending VERY much money. More than we earn during these days... And thats why we have rising "right wing" politics ☹️
@@PhilipS-t3e I like how critical you touched every aspect of what I earlier mentioned. You have a point. Nothing is free but the opportunities present make life easier. I love the part you said "as long as everyone pays taxes then the system works" so true:)
@mongafalone Well thats the Point 😅 right now, everything is "free" for you as a student. But you will be paying back for like 35-40 years during your Work-Life 😜 As a single without kids - 45% of your income 🤷😅 If you are married and have kids, a lot less, but still like 25+%... Systems like the US argue that an individual might not use all these abailable services - so why pay for them 🤔 Everyone only cares for his/hers social security, healthcare and education 🤷 We can see where that leads. 🙈 Bad Infrastructure, education according to your wealth...No public transport. The highest costs per medical treatment on the planet...😒 But "our" system is also very vulnerable! If the economic growth is staggering, like now... If too many people recieve social benefits... When too many get into retirement and only half are coming into the labour market.... Then the system is coming to a difficult situation and I'm curious to see how the next government elect in Feb 2025 will handle that all... If not, WE will have Trump like politics in 4-8 years 😓🙊
Thank you 🙏
