This was solved by the Lansdowne Bridge spanning about 800ft. in 1889. It is a very strange looking bridge and predates the double-cantilever design (that of Howrah Bridge in Kolkata, spanning about 2,300 ft.). That small middle section of the Lansdowne Bridge had to be hoisted up from the river level. The Hyderabad-Kotri 5-span truss bridge was built later in 1900, allowing UP trains from Karachi not having to go via Sukkur but through Hyderabad. The Ayub Bridge is a spanning-arch bridge of which the most famous is at Sydney Harbour. You got the sunset too.
