Love your video. Very informative. I’m a student medical assistant and we have gone over these and checked off however your video is very helpful and a good refresher. School is a constant flow of information, it’s hard to remember set ups for everything!!
Aww! I’m happy I can help and show you what the real work flow is like for when it’s your turn. Thank you for watching hun and all the best in school☺️
I supposed to be starting soon as a pediatric medical assistant but i am scared. I’m currently a PCT right now working in day surgery and med Surg so this is new for me.
Aww don’t be scared. With kids you just need patience. Some of them might be scared but they always feel like they’ll get an injection but you just have to make it fun for them so they can relax. It will get easier and easier by the day I promise!
i really loved this video, thank you for sharing! i'm about to have an interview as an MA soon and i'm really nervous. i'm a senior in high school and this is my first job offer. do you have any advice??
Congratulations!!!! Don’t be nervous! But I would say speak with confidence when answering the questions, even though this is your first job you have to show them you want to grow in the job and that you can see yourself growing in the company. Definitely ask questions such as the benefits the company has to offer etc.
Heyyy! You know it all comes down to educating the parents then afterwards most of them is okay with it. When working with the babies it gets more harder as they grow because they don’t stop moving lol and you need them to be still.
hi! im a senior in high school and im planning on becoming a pediatric medical assistant. i was wondering how much you get paid hour/salary? my mom is a hotel housekeeper and gets paid $19/hr and i googled the average pay for pediatric ma and it was $17/hr which is unfair, since you don't need any extra schooling for a hotel housekeeper. is it worth it???
Lol you are absolutely correct! To be straight up honest, financially it is not worth it but I would say maybe go for LPN. You'll get paid more as an LPN and the schooling is around the same time.
