I haven’t been hunting for decades but I have definitely noted that when I’ve experienced “odd” hunting or animal behaviour and timing there is often a full moon at play. I definitely think it the moon is bright and conditions are good they def move more at night and eat later even and then that changes their daily routine.
I hunt foxes in Australia; but never on a full moon as it just does not work. All factors play in the pursuit of game. Wind, hot and cold, time of season of animal, age and their experience good or bad. Good points, many things are hard to quantify yet seem to have evidence of their being a link. Not all things can be ratified. Good show.
