'The gospels were written down 20 years after Jesus died' ... my goodness ... does this Muslim think all the disciples went back to their day jobs and 20 years later suddenly thought they should write something down... lol ...

Also, they were poor and they couldn't get the paper, or some chalk and writing materials for them to be able to write it down as it happened. They also traveled around preaching too. It is when the eyewitnesses started dying off that they decided to write down the Revelation of Jesus, and his life. For them to know which city, time, and what was said and what happened probably was memorized, and/or written down in some form. They were fisherman, and even official of Rome, or a businessman and knew how to speak, and read Greek and used that language to write down the Gospel.

Dude the quran you are reading is not the original quran, the original was burned and Uthman re wrote the quran to fit the idiology then standardised it in 1924 and distributed it, so your point goes both ways 😂

No cus Allah said so! Oh wait Allah ain't stone cold so it's not the bottom line. But Muslims didn't play telephone with there book. One person saying to another then another. They used chains of narration. One person saying to another then another, it's a science and the names of the people were written down long before the Quran was.. . . .

This is true. Its quite interesting actually taking a look into this and the dates of the early Islamic scholars that wrote different versions of Qurans is important. I've recently researched this. Before the hafs in 1924 there were different versions of Qurans and they got rid of them from students and decided to have 1 based in Cairo. The hafs was taken from other versions of Quran. In 1935 when it became the standard for Egypt and then became standard from 1985 i think. Original scripture of the Quran didnt even have the dots. There are other versions with thousands upon thousands of difference which are different words that change the meaning of the verse.
Yes, Uthman burned original scripture to make his own and 9 where sent out but because it was oral (by memory speaking), others had their own interpretation. The Quran wasnt even completed during Mohammad.
Muslim need to look at early islamic scholars for knowledge, but they will never know because original scriptures were burnt.
The Quran is actually corrupted. It's not eternal (which is Shirk because it's a thing) and written by men (as if we never knew that).

TheQuran was rewitten, chopped and changed, abrogated, parchments wiped off and rewritten ... it shows on the manuscripts , that are supposed to be origional, Abbassids tried to rewrite the Uthman Quran, and it was continuously chopped and changed right up to 18th century... thats why at the end , the Hafs Quran was chosen in 1924 and king of Saudi made it official in 1985. Thats why most of us are older than the Quran. So,can any muslim argue about other religion's books??

Quran 2:79 reveals the very foundation of Islam, though its argument inadvertently works against itself. We are told that Waraqa used to write down what he learned from the Bible-clear evidence that the Bible remained intact. According to the hadith, it was Waraqa who first informed Muhammad about Jibril. There are also strong indications that Waraqa was somehow feeding Muhammad the so-called "revelations," as these messages abruptly ceased upon Waraqa’s death, causing Muhammad to become suicidal.
Why would the revelations stop simply because of Waraqa’s death? Waraqa did not work for Allah. This raises serious questions. Ultimately, the argument Islam attempts to make against the Bible is refuted by its own sources, which clearly outline the very corruption they claim to denounce.
I dont think i know any book that tell on itself luke the quran and hadith does.

The muslim is doing exactly what Ibn Kathir said, "adding interpretation"
Ibn said, they wrote books for themselves,,, and didn't say they changed the original book,,,
He is adding his own interpretation to say that the original book was changed.
The original book are the scrols that Jesus even read from, which is still in existence. Even in the 7th century, Muhammad met those books and used it, and it was not just one copy, it is absolutely not posible to change the originals. There are books that were written by some people which were rejected and not included in the bible. That's what Ibn kathir is referring to

So? Find me a flaw with the moral instruction on the Gospels. Find me a single one. If they were written 20 years after the fact then maybe they got some details wrong about who was where on what day, but those sorts of things aren't important. The things that needed to get through got through. The Bible was never meant to be taken 100 percent literally. I know some Christians think every single word is 100 percent true and it's meant to be read like there's an eyewitness to all the events but considering there are contradictions in the Bible then it cannot be taken as all literal. Again, doesn't matter. Follow the example set by Jesus and be in a constant state of prayer so perfection can dwell in you (even if it has to leave on occasion because you've been weak) that spirit of perfection will guide you. Were there three loaves of bread and five fish or five loaves of bread and three fish? Doesn't matter. What did John the Baptist eat while he was in the wilderness? It's not important that you know that. Jesus was upset by that very mindset when he confronted the Pharisees. They were concerned with interpreting every single word in the Old Testament and they split hairs with that knowledge but they totally missed the spirit in which those laws were given.

there is NO primary evidence of Jesus' crucifixion. The gospels were written well after Jesus death by persons unknown (not the apostles).

When you follow the Qur'an, you are confused because the Quran is an incomplete document.

@melchiormapa3597 you can say what you want but i don't have to protect the quran it's stands on business by itself unlike you guys inventing the trinity to cope with your flawed logic.
The fact of the matter is intellect is Christianity's weakness because once you've read a version of the bible all it leaves you with is contradictions.

According to most Christians scholars and none Christians scholars have agreed that the 4 Gospels were not authored by the Disciples themselves but by later Greek speaking Christians who heard oral transmissions of other Christians

Actually According to most Islamic Scholars along with non-Islamic and atheist scholars, The claim that the Bible was corrupted came about as a result of an Islamic dilemma, which could only be answered by claiming that the Bible has been corrupted…..See how that works?

@ REALLY? ….. early Christian Era (2nd-4th Century CE)
Some early Christian writers like Origen (185-254 CE) and Jerome (347-420 CE) noted discrepancies among various biblical manuscripts. These differences often resulted from copying errors or deliberate edits to clarify or harmonize the text.
      2. Emergence of the Masoretic Text vs. Septuagint
In the early centuries CE, Jewish scholars standardized the Hebrew Bible (Masoretic Text), which sometimes differed from the Greek translation (Septuagint). Differences between these versions led some to question the transmission process……SEE HOW THAT WORKS! Islam came a few hundreds years later

@ HOW ABOUT the Gospels of LUKE?
Luke writes his Gospel more as a historian than as one of Jesus’ original disciples:
In Luke 1:1-4, he explicitly states that he gathered his information from those who were “eyewitnesses and ministers of the word.” This suggests that his Gospel is based on thorough research rather than firsthand experience.
The only time his name appears in the headline as “gospel according to Luke” his name does not appear inside the whole gospel…. Someone later on could of wrote “according to Luke”
