1:20 The sniper shot at the Scout, and he dodged. 1:26 The rifle falls into the aisle. 3:26 The scout picked up the rifle, it was lying nearby. This is crazy
Epic scout's IQ has really improved since Watchtower. Here, he used the saws, gas tank and claw against rabbit heavy, and using the littered weapons from the map against the 2.
Both parties have very impressive skills. The engi and heavy managed to coordinate and badly injure a seemingly impossible to kill target with insane agility and fighting skills The scout managed to hold off for a while and managed to also badly injure two opponents against all odds
i mean im not even sure the heavy is really hurt beyond surface or at least he does not seem to have any problems moving while hurt differently of the other two.
Mostly because of his chosen Evironment, Engi and Heavy excel in open fields with little area to use as cover from fire range, not only did Scout have field advantage he also had resource advantage since the space in which they're fighting is loaded with weaponry at his disposal.
@@FizzyPopVevo 2fort doesn't have many "overhangs" to hide on like sawmill does, with the exception of the center of the map. here, the scout has many "upper" and "lower" surfaces and walls to hide, move, and fight on, which buys him precious time to line up attacks against his adversary the engineer.
Also around 3:50 you can hear engie shooting 5 times even tho you only see 4 bullets and with the other shot that hit scouts hand you can see that he yet again shot 6 times and then was empty
One detail that I love and that i think most people miss is at 3:13. Scout releases the hammers on both grenades at different times instead of at the same time so that instead of the grenades exploding at the same time, they sync up to explode at the correct intervals. Absolutely incredible work
The timing is impeccable but the angles that the grenade exploaded with the blade twisted slidely is also quite accurate as the grenade exploaded slightly below the angled sawmill. (I think)
Another interesting fact that people haven't mentioned is the fact that the Rabid Heavy has a regenerative healing ability which would make sense why I can't die
Here are the thing I love about this Sfm 1. The story not being driven by dialouge 2. The battle turning from a team battle to one more personal to the Engineer 3. The engineer staying behind to watch the building explode not because of enternainment, but because he understands the Scouts power and is making sure that he might not come back and take them down
3:32 Years after my obsession over this short film, today was the first time I noticed that Heavy Taming Engineer ricocheted his bullet into the claw (the one holding Heavy down), which is how he was even able to shoot at Epic Scout's hand.
I just realized that Scout's never actually done a lot of hand-to-hand combat so far throughout this story, he fights more like a Freestyle Kickboxer, if anything. I fucking love it. I ask for one thing, and one thing alone. please make him do a sick asf dropkick in the next episode.
Looks like a mixture of kicking-based martial arts, I see a lot of taekwondo 4:51, a bit of kickboxing 4:12, capoirea 4:15 and i think muay thai as well 4:57?
i think why he use kicking more is because he still want to use his hand for shooting guns so he can combo it with with his kick like look at 4:12 he was straight kickboxing Engineer while trying to load the pistol but heavy interfered with the fight
Epic scout's greatest strength (aside from his evasive agility) is his accuracy with firearms. unfortunately for him, like 5 or 6 guns that he picked up were almost completely out of ammo, as well as the fact that the Rabid heavy was a bullet sponge.
I like how the deaths and already dead bodies we see before the main fight become relevant later on. The Red Scout, the Blu Engie and Sniper corpses, the Red Machina Sniper, the Blu Pyro and Soldier on the capture point, all their respective weapons gets used in the fight. Along with the bullet count of the Engineer’s revolver, the consistency is satisfying. I know people are still leaving comments to point out details and/or show appreciation, but seriously, this animation is forever legendary Also when the Scout steals the Engie’s revolver for the first time, the Engie is visibly surprised to see his gun gone, but he reacts instantly upon hearing the familiar sound of the hammer getting cocked, very nice
despite taking 2-4 years between each, they don't fail to deliver, the way how it's so fluid brings such joy to see the master piece that it is also, this needs to be said: "scout mains whenever they join sawmill"
I love how well orchestrated this entire short is. None of the characters barely ever say a word, yet we can clearly see their development from only three 10-minute shorts. The BLU scout’s short was at first more of a joke how unbalanced teams sometimes feel, yet it turned into one of the best introductions to OP characters I’ve seen in my life. Altough power escalation does seem like a real problem for that film and what comes after, the style everything is handed in fits tf2 so damn well. The RED engie’s film was much more straightforward from the beginning: it showed that the engie was a professional from the start, and even though his pet was the main attraction, he could handle himself in a fight much better than the average merc. Even thogh the duo did not appeal to me in the same way the BLU scout did, its refreshing to see both parties presented as not just ”good and evil”, but two sets of professionals on two sides of a coin. And this film. Its incredible. Not only is the animation and camera work gorgeous, its so beautifully orchestrated that many hollywood action scene writers should take not. First of all it’s clearly noted that the BLU scout hasn’t lost any of his potential: in fact, he’s improved, and doesn’t seem to consider fighting ordinary mercs even difficult anymore. When first watching the first few minutes of the short, I expected to see just another dm-fest as in the first short. The clever subversion of expectations with the introduction of the RED heavy had me blown away though. Realizing that this wouldn’t be an average sawmill fight but a scene where 2 champions are put against each other really sold it. And it doesn’t stop there. The way the power level of all 3 characters is handled is beoynd great. It’s clearly shown that alone on a 1v1, the BLU scout is always the best of the 3. However, the synchronation between the two RED mercs is always reintroduced, when you least expecting it, which, overwhelms the viewer, and the BLU scout aswell. And the conclusion. Even though I still hope for a continuation for this saga, the ending to this one still felt conclusive and fitting.
Guys, we missed the beginning! On 0:29 We see a Sniper who will shoot at 1:20 And also the Red Scout who was killed by a Soldier, the Soldier went to the point where he was killed by a Heavy. The Scout Soldier 's grenades are used at 3:10 The sawn-off Red Scout we see at 6:21
Holy shit, the attention to detail; at 4:35, Scout blindfolds the Heavy. I always thought it was just a basic white strap he used, but he's actually using a blu Humanitarian's Hachimaki. Earlier in the video, the blu Pyro that's decapitated by the Heavy is wearing one of these, and during the brief moment we see from the Heavy's PoV before being blindfolded, you can see said Pyro's severed head gently rolling along the ground. The Scout grabbed the headband off the Pyro's head and weaponized it.
I like that small detail where spy tries to give scout a thumbs up but he doesn’t say a word. It’s evident that he’s learned from the first episode he can’t rely on his teammates to work and cooperate with him. Meanwhile, engi is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. He relies on the rabid heavy to work with him and cooperate with him without any resistance. Also, let me say one thing about engi, he has literally forced a nearly unkillable beast with crazy amounts of power to be his pet and follow all his orders. He’s much stronger than we think.
I love the fact that each character has their respective strengths. Scout: - Immensely fast and agile. - Quick thinker and fast follow-ups. - Insane sense of hearing. - Incredibly swift combos and attacks. - Able to overwhelm enemies with speed and attacks. Engineer: - Deadeye and impressive ricochet shots. - Talented with strong hooks and counters. - The dropkick of GOD. - Thorough sense of hearing. - Great coordination with Heavy. Heavy: - Unspeakable strength and speed. - Unfathomable relentlessness. - Recklessly threatening. - Nearly untouched by all weaponry. - Great sense of smell. It makes this matchup insane. If there ever is a SFM Hall of Fame, this should be one of the first added.
I also like how each have their own obvious weaknesses too Like how while Scout is quick, he still has to expend energy to reliably dodge certain attacks (such as the ricocheted bullets) (You could also argue he's not 100% faster than bullets, as there are some scenes that consistently show him moving faster than the shooter can process, rather than the bullets themselves.) Engie can definitely hold his own really well in a fight, but is definitely somewhat reliant on his coordination with Heavy (even unintentionally, like how heavy saved engie from being shot by a sniper) And heavy of course being reliant on his senses . Also love that "The dropkick of GOD" lmao
I don't think "hearing" explains being able to tell whether a bullet's "Clang!" means that it's gonna ricochet to your exact coordinates or that it's just gonna hit the wall. I think trusting his senses and past experiences chalks his second dodge of a ricochet to insane brain power. Although, unfortunately not a great amount of experience since if he just handled the pain well and was able to think clearly despite pain like his opponents he would've fucked them good. I think the defining difference between them was just one was a veteran who got lucky with a good sidekick and the other is just really talented up-and-comer, I think it was just a contrast.
The White spy also has quick thinking and masterfully skilled in hand to hand combat, also is incredibly resourceful in any situation. And his luck. Like holy damn is he a lucky bastard
2:51 i just noticed, when the rabbid heavy bounces on the planks right on top of sniper´s body, sniper's head bounces and his hat falls off of his head... this is way too much detail.
Seven years and the fighting in this vid is so much better than like 90% of YT series fight scenes nowadays. You my friend are one of if not the GOAT of SFM animations (I think you put a drug in these fight scenes because i cannot stop watching them)
3:43 I've watched this video so many times since it first came out and I've only just now noticed the Engie has a unique logo on his sleeve. Really nice detail.
It is really impressive how much Scout resisted this tough fight, learning little by little the movements of Engineer and Heavy, knowing when to break their formation to be able to attack them, using his surroundings to plan the attacks, even enduring those moments where they cornered him and attacked him but he got up again with the same strength and agility, there were moments where Scout really could kill them and I do not want to take away the merit of Engineer and Heavy, but I cannot imagine the strength, both physical and mental, that Scout had to have to fight.
Both teams showed amazing feats just by fighting eachother, the taming engineer and rabid heavy managed to hold there own against a super humanly fast and experienced opponent and the epic scout managed to persevere through all odds against 2 incredibly formidable opponents
@@Hue5366 he doesn’t have as much experience as the engi. I think this happened just some months after scout got his power, but who knows how much decades engi has been doing this kind of work with heavy. I think scout has learnt a lot during this fight, and will get closer on engi’s skill level experience wise after his training montage.
I think scouts fighting style is unexpected and also super fast which is why most people get killed quickly, but it has too many exploits so he can’t get away with such reckless moves against people like the engie
7:06 God the last thing you expect is realism that light travels faster than sound in a TH-cam SFM video. This guy put more effort into the realism and physics of some hobby video than most "AAA" games out there.
Every time I come back to these series of videos, and I still love all the little details like 6:12 where Engi is nearly killed like Agent 35, or when the Engineer drop kicks Bryce similarly to how he does to the Engineer he finishes off. I love all these little continuity details.
I love how at 3:58 that Bryce had a genuine annoyed look when the front of the sniper was shot off.. It resembles to when his original shotgun in R.O.T.E.S. that had its front shot off by a RED scout
Lordikus! What do you mean JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a miserable parody? Are you saying the show is bad? I’m not gonna type out a paragraph on why it isn’t a bad show but what did you mean?
Can we all appreciate that ten seconds from 6:46 to 6:56 with all the actions and movement was all done on one camera without having to change to another camera or and edit of clips together. That’s pretty impressive with what’s in those ten seconds.
Every gun he finds actually makes sense. You can see in the video where each respect class died. Plus its a battle going on so there are bound to be a bunch of weapons lying around

Now this... this is the kind of videos we need more of on TH-cam. The animation was spot on, the combat scenes were perfectly executed to the point that it rivals some of the best action movies around. It's a shame Valve doesn't give Saxxies to videos longer than 5 minutes, because this totally deserves it. Keep up the good work, friend. I shall patiently await the sequel to this, which I'm sure will be just as amazing, if not better.
8:58 This part is just cute to me. Idk why, something about the simplicity of just the heavy nomming on a piece of meat while sitting like a good boy is just adorable.
I just want to say thank you Crash Maul for this amazing video. Even I watched it several times, this one never fails to entertain. And I still rewatch it from time to time to see your beautiful work. Have a good one friend.
also something that bothers me is that those pistols are the scouts *_P R I M A R Y_* weapons but he just forgets about them despite them literally right in front of him. :|
Crash Maul managed to create an awesome TF2 universe. I cannot wait to see new IDs, new fighters. I have been following SFM community since its release at 2012 and you are my favourite SFM animator so far. There are so many details. Like representing old fight moves from his Rise of Epic Scout and Meet the Rabid Heavy Taming Engineer videos. Loved it.
+DED Indeed, he created these few awesome videos. Even if these are really just a few videos but it's absolutely understandable that how much work he has in these videos. My favourite video animator as well since The Rabid Heavy and Taming Engi video.
DED Literally, my friend. The broken Machina, The well detailed scout blood drop from his cheek when avoid the hit of Rabid Heavy, the oil spill coming out from the oil tank, litting it up by shooting it with the scattergun, blood comes through the bandage on the Epic Scout's hand like would happen in the reality, not to remove the sniper scope by breaking it with the Widowmaker. Very nicely done.
What I love most about this video, the series in general is how the yes the fights look cool But how in the meta sense of the franchise as a whole despite being far removed from the source Epic Scout and The Engi with the Rabid heavy still fights based on their general archetypes Scout obviously is very nimble, agile and fast but he also benefits heavily from his ability to plan around the weaknesses of his opponents and catch them slipping Engi on his own “while admittedly not without his own strengths” benefits most from his control over his “sentry” and how he directs it but also just as importantly how they work in unison. And heavy is obviously still a beefy tank capable of dealing tons of damage and soaking up tons in return, but he’s not invincible, he still needs to rely on his support and clever placements otherwise a more savvy player can take advantage of his lack of options and rather simple play style. And while he’s not in this particular video, the white spy despite being probably the most removed from his original counterpart, is still layered by the original spy’s playstyle. He utilizes his opponent’s overestimation of their capabilities and a general underestimation of his, while also relying heavily on subterfuge and trickery to get by. Also luck…. A lot of luck.
I just love the level of detail put into this animation. The fight is so fast paced, but each action has a clear reason, not to mention the level of fluency and distinct stages of the fight. It’s just an amazing piece.
I'll always be on the Engy's team, that good and very American brawling style with dead eye accuracy is just too good. Also I've always preferred skill over "because superpowers." Plus I've always been an Engy main.
Honestly if you want a much stronger you should choose Scout cause he is strong and he fights for himself but if you like having pets you can vote the engineer because he has a companion
@@oliviamariepalarca8603 Well pets can be more powerful than superheroes, Rabid heavy survived a sawblade coming towards his neck, getting shot in the chin alot, and somehow surviving a gas explosion. He was burnt up but lived. The engie had deadeye aim and handled shots that could of disabled his ability to move like a man, and managed to get the scout distracted enough to get the rabid heavy out of the crane lock. Edit: The scout also survived a insane scalding all over his skin, and the explosion from the gas tank in the main part of sawmill, Ever heard of how batman can beat superman? It doesn't depend on powers, it depends on how skilled and powerful you are, Like in tf2, pick the right loadout to counter, and put your skills to the test, I know this isn't on the sfm but its rather of a explanation that skill can be equal to superpowers. Edit (again..) Also getting superpowers is like risking your entire life for something powerful like a artifact. You can just focus on skill and have more power than superpowers in quite some time, Pets can also be deadly against superheros, The person they are attacking needs to focus even more on what they are doing, Attacking the engie while the pet is coming towards you is a deathwish, You should focus on whats charging against you, and what isn't, When you only focus on somebody else, your risking your life killing it instead of safely keeping a eye on the battlegrounds.
I like how their powers are boosted by their main aspect. Scout: Speed and Agility Heavy: Power and Vitality Engineer: High Intelligence Now for the upcoming classes (My own opinion) Soldier: Quick thinking and Prediction (Since soldier depends on prediction to kill his opponents with his rockets) Pyro: Flames and Cruelty (Why not?) Demoman: Explosives and Timing (Obviously) Medic: High Intelligence and Efficiency (Well he does not have that much offensive capabilities unless *cough* crits) Sniper: Aim and Unexpected (k) Spy: Stealth and Silence (Yes)
3:13 beautiful subtle detail that many seem to miss. Just because you pull the pin on a grenade doesn’t mean it’s armed. You have to release the plunger to arm the grenade. The pin is merely there to prevent the plunger from being prematurely armed.
@@jaundy_yellow face contact against the scope. Who cares for real? In this game if your drink a soda you become bullet proof so why try to explain its mechanics.
I would personally like to give my own stats on these characters. The stats are: strength, durability, intelligence and agility. They are ranked from 1-10. 1 being awful and 10 being the best. The rabid heavy: Strength: 10, no explanation needed here Agility: 7, was able to keep up with the epic Scout in short term bursts (especially with that ball form at 2:50) Intelligence: 1, constantly falls for basic traps and is incredibly relient on his senses and instinct for battle as seen when Epic Scout blinds him and he is just uselessly flailing and had to have Tamer Engineer to help him out. Durability: 10, tanked an explosion with seemingly little damage being taken, no sells most bullets shot at him and survived when a massive metal saw collided right with his face. Overall: 28/40 The epic Scout/Brice. Strength: 8 (originally a 7), was able to kick Engineer into the air during the 1st fight they had and was able to send Heavy spinning in the air from a roundhouse kick 1:16. Agility: 10, no explanation required. Intelligence: 8, was able to constantly come up with new ways to trap and kill/nerf the rabid heavy (for example, we got trapping him with the crane, baiting Heavy into attacking the oil container etc). Was able to use every firearm efficiently, he deducted that the Medic was a spy when the Demo had no clue in the beginning at 1:45. Durability: 8, (originally was a 5) was able to tank bullets and a few rabid heavy punches. It has now has been brought to my attention about how the epic Scout survived a crane to the back and survived the explosion with major damage taken so I've added 3 points to his durability. Overall: 34/40 Tamer Engineer: Strength: 5, beat the epic Scout in a fist fight. Agility: 3, easily the lowest mobility wise showcasing no real feats of speed or agility during this vid. Intelligence: 10, was able to tame the rabbid heavy, constantly predicts the epic Scout's movement, was able to manipulate Epic Scout into a fist fight after nearly losing in the initial gun fight between the two. Durability: 6, tanked a few bullets as well as tanking a few of Epic Scout's punches, kicks and a bottle to the head in the fight they had. Furthermore he survived the explosion with major damage taken. Also appears to have high pain tolerance as he never made a sound when getting his ass comboed or when getting shot by Epic Scout though this could just be him being mute. Overall: 24/40 Edit: Here are the stats for White Spy White Spy: Intelligence: 7, the White Spy is quite intelligent and creative if a bit clumsily, examples include: using the car lights to stun the Scout, leaving no evidence of his past for the blokes at the beginning to track, able to use his firearms every effectively, also adapts well to a situation as seen when Cobra grabs him tie to get him off footing so he cuts it off the second time, same thing when Cobra throws a knife at him etc. I would give him a ten but his forgetful nature (e.g forgetting to reload his gun), showing panic when faced with a strong opponent and that kiss with Cobra at the end knock him down a peg. Strength: 8, Spy chucked a massive LMG from his car to another and considering how big the gun was the fact that he was able to chuck it that far is quite impressive. Durability 7, has survived hits from the big shirtless bloke in the purple mask (one hit even powerful enough to break the concrete of the tunnel walls and leave a massive debt in it), tanked a few bullets and also survived a car explosion which was powerful enough to propell him forward without any long lasting damage. Agility: 3, has around the same agility as RHT Engineer, displaying little speed feats. Overall: 25/40 However I would like to give a quick mention of White Spy's greatest trait. *SPECIAL STAT* Luck: 10, the white spy's luck is insane, him getting exploded outta car only to do several front flips and stab the guy on the motorcycle in front of him through luck (as demonstrated by White Spy's disbelief), him getting punched by the shirtless masked guy and he just so happens to land in a car behind them etc. White Spy's luck is simple insane.
strongly agreed. Though in all fairness, who could've suspected any of Epic Scout's traps? or just the man himself in general?(aside from Tamer Engie, obviously)
I would give more strength to the scout due to him kicking a 200 kg (almost 450 pound) man into the air for a moment in the beginning. But other than that it’s the most accurate in my opinion.
i think the relationship the engi and heavy share is pretty great, the heavy will do anything for food, and will damn well survive for it, which the engi can supply, and the scout has great tactics to winning the fight, even though in theory he lost.
I remember where I was when this was first uploaded. I was 12 years old, in my TF2 phase and I was already subbed cuz of the RHT Engie sfm. I still can't wait for the next one Crash :)
What I love about this video is that everything matters. If a weapon is picked up off the ground, something was shown on screen at some point to lead to that. They don't pull stuff out of nowhere, every action has a consequence. I LOVE continuous continuity in a seen. If something is there, it was shown why.

Real spoons would fly off tho instead of just hang there
The timing is impeccable but the angles that the grenade exploaded with the blade twisted slidely is also quite accurate as the grenade exploaded slightly below the angled sawmill. (I think)
@@WulfieZi depends on the grenade i think russian ones keep the levers attached once you throw it

And engineer can punch like a truck
i think why he use kicking more is because he still want to use his hand for shooting guns so he can combo it with with his kick like look at 4:12 he was straight kickboxing Engineer while trying to load the pistol but heavy interfered with the fight
Epic scout's greatest strength (aside from his evasive agility) is his accuracy with firearms.
unfortunately for him, like 5 or 6 guns that he picked up were almost completely out of ammo, as well as the fact that the Rabid heavy was a bullet sponge.
Aye yea we watch the language but I agree with you
I like how the deaths and already dead bodies we see before the main fight become relevant later on. The Red Scout, the Blu Engie and Sniper corpses, the Red Machina Sniper, the Blu Pyro and Soldier on the capture point, all their respective weapons gets used in the fight.
Along with the bullet count of the Engineer’s revolver, the consistency is satisfying.
I know people are still leaving comments to point out details and/or show appreciation, but seriously, this animation is forever legendary
Also when the Scout steals the Engie’s revolver for the first time, the Engie is visibly surprised to see his gun gone, but he reacts instantly upon hearing the familiar sound of the hammer getting cocked, very nice

Wow, thanks XD

8:18 I love the way he looks back
"Damn! Oh well. He deserved it I guess"
So its basically: "Oh no! Anyway"
Rabbid Heavy: Aw, but Heavy was just getting started.
I like the theory that heavy could sense that scout was still alive and wanted to finish the job.
I was wondering when someone would notice ;)
I honestly thought he had a last breath and he used the bandages
I guess that Pyro got some comeback posthumously

I like that small detail where spy tries to give scout a thumbs up but he doesn’t say a word. It’s evident that he’s learned from the first episode he can’t rely on his teammates to work and cooperate with him. Meanwhile, engi is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum. He relies on the rabid heavy to work with him and cooperate with him without any resistance. Also, let me say one thing about engi, he has literally forced a nearly unkillable beast with crazy amounts of power to be his pet and follow all his orders. He’s much stronger than we think.

after watching for the millionth time i just now realised the epic scout is the sfm character with the most aura ever
and probably the best sfm fight I've ever seen in decade
The taming engineer is only 0.1% behind
This sfm is a perfect representation of what happens when 2 guys with maxed out auras have beef with each other
So that's why u changed your photograph picture in to scout?
@@marmiegarcia4031 no I just like the picture
I love the fact that each character has their respective strengths.
Scout:
- Immensely fast and agile.
- Quick thinker and fast follow-ups.
- Insane sense of hearing.
- Incredibly swift combos and attacks.
- Able to overwhelm enemies with speed and attacks.
Engineer:
- Deadeye and impressive ricochet shots.
- Talented with strong hooks and counters.
- The dropkick of GOD.
- Thorough sense of hearing.
- Great coordination with Heavy.
Heavy:
- Unspeakable strength and speed.
- Unfathomable relentlessness.
- Recklessly threatening.
- Nearly untouched by all weaponry.
- Great sense of smell.
It makes this matchup insane. If there ever is a SFM Hall of Fame, this should be one of the first added.
I also like how each have their own obvious weaknesses too
Like how while Scout is quick, he still has to expend energy to reliably dodge certain attacks (such as the ricocheted bullets) (You could also argue he's not 100% faster than bullets, as there are some scenes that consistently show him moving faster than the shooter can process, rather than the bullets themselves.)
Engie can definitely hold his own really well in a fight, but is definitely somewhat reliant on his coordination with Heavy (even unintentionally, like how heavy saved engie from being shot by a sniper)
And heavy of course being reliant on his senses .
@@ralek592 I meant hearing as in he heard the trigger tighten on the Engineer's revolver.

+Savage Source IS NOT THAT GOOD IS VERY GOOD
What I love most about this video, the series in general is how the yes the fights look cool
But how in the meta sense of the franchise as a whole despite being far removed from the source
Epic Scout and The Engi with the Rabid heavy still fights based on their general archetypes
Scout obviously is very nimble, agile and fast but he also benefits heavily from his ability to plan around the weaknesses of his opponents and catch them slipping
Engi on his own “while admittedly not without his own strengths” benefits most from his control over his “sentry” and how he directs it but also just as importantly how they work in unison.

I'll always be on the Engy's team, that good and very American brawling style with dead eye accuracy is just too good. Also I've always preferred skill over "because superpowers."
Plus I've always been an Engy main.
Edit: The scout also survived a insane scalding all over his skin, and the explosion from the gas tank in the main part of sawmill,
Ever heard of how batman can beat superman?
It doesn't depend on powers, it depends on how skilled and powerful you are, Like in tf2, pick the right loadout to counter, and put your skills to the test, I know this isn't on the sfm but its rather of a explanation that skill can be equal to superpowers.
Edit (again..) Also getting superpowers is like risking your entire life for something powerful like a artifact. You can just focus on skill and have more power than superpowers in quite some time,
Pets can also be deadly against superheros, The person they are attacking needs to focus even more on what they are doing, Attacking the engie while the pet is coming towards you is a deathwish, You should focus on whats charging against you, and what isn't, When you only focus on somebody else, your risking your life killing it instead of safely keeping a eye on the battlegrounds.

9 years later and I'm still hyped up about this series. Always wanted to see the continuation
I love the detail that we see the oil tank explosion and then we hear the sound later due to light travelling faster than sound
light doesnt have anything to do with this. its the fact that sound works like really fast waves. same for light except its a trillion times faster
@@exvinitrai your point is? I'm right lmao
@@exvinitrai...you just said what he already said lol
Dvd
3:13 beautiful subtle detail that many seem to miss. Just because you pull the pin on a grenade doesn’t mean it’s armed. You have to release the plunger to arm the grenade. The pin is merely there to prevent the plunger from being prematurely armed.
Usually the plunger comes out on its own
Then again it didnt look like they came out
6:37 Scout's Worst Thing: *Run Out Of Ammo*
It's easy to understand why he's pissed, how did the BLU sniper managed to shoot 23 bullets even tho he got spawnkilled by the RED sniper ?
@@yoshinauser4322safe to assume that they tried to do a sniper duel but lost in the end... I guess
I love how scout uses everything he can to defeat them.
3:30 he couldn't have shot anyway; he wasn't scoped.
Lol first I want to write the same comment as you 🤣
but how does the machina detect that if he scoped, it will trigger. How tho?
@@jaundy_yellow face contact against the scope. Who cares for real? In this game if your drink a soda you become bullet proof so why try to explain its mechanics.
@@naillik1517 don't forget that being covered in piss somehow makes you more vulnerable 🤣 man TF2 tho.....😂

How exactly?
I would personally like to give my own stats on these characters. The stats are: strength, durability, intelligence and agility. They are ranked from 1-10. 1 being awful and 10 being the best.
The rabid heavy:
Strength: 10, no explanation needed here
Agility: 7, was able to keep up with the epic Scout in short term bursts (especially with that ball form at 2:50)
Intelligence: 1, constantly falls for basic traps and is incredibly relient on his senses and instinct for battle as seen when Epic Scout blinds him and he is just uselessly flailing and had to have Tamer Engineer to help him out.
Durability: 10, tanked an explosion with seemingly little damage being taken, no sells most bullets shot at him and survived when a massive metal saw collided right with his face.
Overall: 28/40
The epic Scout/Brice.
Overall: 34/40
Tamer Engineer:
Strength: 5, beat the epic Scout in a fist fight.
Overall: 24/40
Edit: Here are the stats for White Spy
White Spy:
Intelligence: 7, the White Spy is quite intelligent and creative if a bit clumsily, examples include: using the car lights to stun the Scout, leaving no evidence of his past for the blokes at the beginning to track, able to use his firearms every effectively, also adapts well to a situation as seen when Cobra grabs him tie to get him off footing so he cuts it off the second time, same thing when Cobra throws a knife at him etc.
Overall: 25/40
However I would like to give a quick mention of White Spy's greatest trait.
*SPECIAL STAT*
Luck: 10, the white spy's luck is insane, him getting exploded outta car only to do several front flips and stab the guy on the motorcycle in front of him through luck (as demonstrated by White Spy's disbelief), him getting punched by the shirtless masked guy and he just so happens to land in a car behind them etc. White Spy's luck is simple insane.
That's makes sense.
So good thank you
strongly agreed.
Though in all fairness, who could've suspected any of Epic Scout's traps? or just the man himself in general?(aside from Tamer Engie, obviously)
Bullshit the scout has a durability of 100 he took a fking crain claw to the back
I would give more strength to the scout due to him kicking a 200 kg (almost 450 pound) man into the air for a moment in the beginning. But other than that it’s the most accurate in my opinion.
i love how everyone is showing the Time Stamp of a cool moment and the little details. this was truly an amazing piece.
i think the relationship the engi and heavy share is pretty great, the heavy will do anything for food, and will damn well survive for it, which the engi can supply, and the scout has great tactics to winning the fight, even though in theory he lost.
Hey Crash Maul, we’re still here waiting for the next one, I bet it’ll be amazing.

What I love about this video is that everything matters. If a weapon is picked up off the ground, something was shown on screen at some point to lead to that. They don't pull stuff out of nowhere, every action has a consequence. I LOVE continuous continuity in a seen. If something is there, it was shown why.

I love how each character has their own "signature moves" and fighting style, like the Engy reusing his lil hop at 6:50 and Scout's myriad little things like shooting directly into explosive weapons.
