We’re only half way through the tour and so looking forward to catching up when we hit the Masters Of Rock Festival! The Priest is back and we’re joining them in Budapest, Athens, Mogilovo, Bucharest and Germany!
There’s also some killer headline shows coming to you in Poland, Switzerland and Germany finishing off at the Time To Rock Festival in Sweden in August!

The current incarnation of The Dead Daisies features guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), drummer Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol), bassist and singer Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), and rhythm guitarist David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink).

This is a great lineup and great song. Every member shines here. I can’t believe Glenn is 70. He sounds, plays and looks decades younger.
They say with age comes a decline in ones vocal range and ability, we've seen and heard Vince Neil, John Bonjovi, Rob Halford, David Lee Roth etc. butcher their once was classic legacy, but Glenn Hughes....he's much like fine wine, he sounds incredible!🤘
I agree except for you including Rob Halford. I saw their Firepower Tour twice, once with Deep Purple, then later just them at a casino in Biloxi. Rob was impressive both times. Tommy Shaw is another vocalist that STILL brings it. We saw Styx twice also within 2 years and Tommy was fantastic. Vince and Jon today are not worth seeing IMO. I'm hoping we can catch the Dead Daisies in the near future.
@@juve3690 Rob Doe's sound good....but on the newer material, I've seen Rob have trouble doing what made him a inspirational veteran Metal God and that was him singing very high, Beyond The Realms of Death, The Ripper, Exciter, Dissident Aggressor. Mainly anything off of the 70s era material which put him on the map. Once they released Hell Bent for Leather, you could start to hear the change in Vocal style as he started singing in a more lower rough sounding register.
@@billiepulera1008 You are correct. Hell Bent for Leather is the first album by them that I listened to. Then I went back and listened to all the older stuff. Beyond the Realms of Death is an excellent song. I bet Rob realized back in the day that he wouldn't be able to keep singing songs like that live without blowing out his voice. Hence, the lower songs with the occasional scream. When I saw them do Halls of Valhalla, Rob nailed that epic scream both times. Similar thing with Tommy Shaw, when Styx played Man in the Wilderness. At the end, Tommy hits some high notes. He nailed it both times too, and last time was just a year ago in Tulsa. It's always impressive, to me, when bands start playing a song and I wonder...is he gonna hit the HIGH note or scream? and they do. Dokken is playing at a small place near me soon, and I won't bother going. I'd rather listen to their cd's than be disappointed with a live show tuned down so low.
I've said, NO not Glen Hughes in Dead Daises but OMG was I wrong!!!

I saw them live with this line up this past year. There were moments when my wife looked at me with that "Did gravity just stop working?" look because of some of the notes Glenn hit. I cannot recommend seeing this band live enough. You'll get every penny you pay. Jaw dropping. The entire band are ridiculous players and they are tight as a brick outhouse.
My wife looked at me & pretty much said the same thing, Saw them last month, lucky enough in 2 & half weeks going to have the privilege to see them again.

@Citizen - that was my experience, too. I've loved Deep Purple my whole life and was super excited when Glenn joined Dead Daisies. That album, _Holy Ground,_ damn, that's such a good album!!

Another great one! This lineup is amazing. Every person crushes it and makes it great. But Doug is really on fire. Possibly the greatest guitarist out there playing today.

Glenn's vocals are incredible for any age. You need only watch a recent video of Motley Crüe, Guns N Roses or Bon Jovi.
They never were in his league at any point .
Glenn one of the best, yet another is Paul Rodgers of Free and Bad Company.
You can go back a lot further to find a good Vince Neil performance! I heard warning signs of Bon Jovi in 1997 when he developed this nasally whine, GNR is a weird one, Axl has sounded pretty rubbish on a lot of live performances when they 'came back' in the 2000's, but sounded pretty cool doing acdc stuff

Saludos , desde mi humilde punto de vista a partir de este tema es que escucho esta formacion de lujo con una personalidad de banda diferenciada de las demas , soy fan de todos sus miembros de manera individual y de Glen desde Deep Purple , Doug su trabajo con Dio y Whitesnake , la vuelta a la banda de Brian Tichy muy acertada este señor pone a sonar increible cualquier banda donde este y el dueño en la guitarra ritmica el impulsor de esta maravilla .
