i don't play rust but are fish a valuable item? i would assume you could just find a body of water and craft a fishing pole super easily and farm for a few hours
not many people fish in the game it seems, most were focused on either building arms or raiding. fish produce a lot of scrap or money in game to be used to craft weapons and gear. So having tons of fish is like winning the lottery
